This might depend on location or something because I have a 16-year-old who jumps on every opportunity to drive (he has a permit) and all of his peers are the same

True, more walkable areas with a public transit might be a deciding factor especially with ride sharing now if you have to use it.

That is one phenomenon that I never understood. For me as a 16-17 year old I couldn't wait to get girls in my whip :rofl:
I won’t be shocked when I find long strands of hair floating around in the car when if he gives me a ride :lol:
 
I was around 25 when I got my first car and I couldn’t wait having a car was everything I dreamed it was but I take public transportation now and that’s not that bad either only on the weekends it gets tricky
