We had the Flinstones ones

These jawns? Me too. I'm starting to realize how much of our kitchen hardware was freebies from fast food. We had plates too.

I remember those, the Batman joints and can go as far back as the Garfield ones from the 80s. These fast food freebies are starting to dry up at thrift stores. Ten years ago they'd litter the shelves and sell for $1 each. Now? The manager wants eBay prices and sometimes more if they tape wrap a whole set together  :smh:

I believe that science behind that is called Stagedology.
Those are exaggerated skits of very minor and also very rare real life occurrences.

Had a rugby match today which was weird for a couple of reasons. Rugby is a winter sport so watching it in a t-shirt and 75° is odd (but very pleasant). Fiji v Scotland in the Scottish national stadium - but it was a home game for Fiji. Their stadium doesn’t meet the requirements for a tier 1 international match so they’ve been playing their home games at the opposition stadiums.

It was kind of cool though - instead of the usual stadium stuff they arranged everything - they put on a great pre-game thing of traditional dancing and music and had their own announcers and stuff.

A lot more dynamic than it looks in the photo - there was a lot of movement.

Those dancers all came and sat ina section just behind us - spent the whole game chanting and singing.

I just cleaned my ac, it's old af and I'm not trying to buy a new one.

Our portable ac unit just crapped out. Bought it for like $300 at Costco last summer. It won’t blow cold air anymore.

We went to return it and they said we could get cash back or in store credit. We said just give us the exact same model and that will be good. They said:

We had to pay almost $200 EXTRA just to get the exact same model. Because tariffs. (Even though they publicly stated that tariff costs would not be passed to the consumer)

Basically we got GOT
