the thread about nothing...

The food is the same; like they aren't cooking 'food app' nuggets over here and 'in-person/drive-thru' nuggets over there.
But tacking $10-$20 dollars on top of it for delivery makes the entire decision even worse.

DCAllAfrican DCAllAfrican where do you sit on the door dash debate?
I've never used any of those food delivery apps.

Stuff is way too overpriced and I don't trust random strangers that don't work for these food spots to be careful with my food.

I have a car so I don't mind going to get my food.

I hate them so much that I've gotten into arguments with people that have "DoorDashed me lunch" because I view it as a fat and lazy American luxury.

I was 99% sure you’d be on the same page but I had to check.

I LIKE going to places too.

More than anything, I don't like feeling like I've been cheated financially. There is no way I could use those apps and NOT feel that way.

I'm cheap. I use coupon codes for everything.

I don't cuss but I almost cussed somebody out recently for spending $60 on 2 Pizzas from Papa John's. No online order. No coupon codes. Just called and ordered pizza RAW.

Growing up, my man's mother hipped me to the coupon game and I've never looked back.

I'm nobody's b****.

That’s really all it is too, I’m the same way I’m not getting scammed, I’ll scam them if anything.

Like you said it’s just another needless way to spend your money on something that was never a problem in the first place.

I'm about to step out to a friend's bday dinner. It'll be me, her, 2 sisters, and another college lady friend. I'm happy to celebrate but I'm not a fan of bday dinners and why the heck does it have to be at night? :lol

I guess Im cheap
cause I always looked at the economics of ordering food (even without fees)
and Im like, I can buy groceries for 7 meals instead

dont get me wrong
once in a while its a nice treat
Since me and my girl like to cook it's easy to for us to rarely use any delivery service. Once in a while well order pizza but that's about it.

Way too much information online now for people to not want to at least learn how to cook decent meals at home especially if you're trying to save money.
