Yea, they took Bale out. He wasn't doing anything all game. Di Maria holds the ball better, better playmaker, and he'll track back. We'll see.

Honestly looking like Benz shoulda been subbed instead of Bale

10 v 10 wouldn't mind seeing Jese come in

We better win this or Ancelotti will have to answer for taking out Isco instead of the ghost of Benzema

Honestly Real should be happy getting the draw. If Ronaldo scores that open shot in the beginning, it becomes a different game and Real win. Can't blame Ancelotti for this, Real had there chances. You can blame Ramos' dumbass tho.

Great win by City. Just need to give this kind of effort on the road against the weaker squads.

Why didn't Ozil go to the fans, were they booing him? Also, was Wishire flipping the bird towards the City fans? Lol

Anyone else read about the German national squad building thirteen apartments in Brazil for the World Cup? Thoughts? :nerd:

The German football association are reportedly building thirteen apartments to house in the players and staff in Brazil for the World Cup next year.

According to information obtained by the Bild newspaper, the headquarters will be build in Santo Andre, Bahia.

The official name of the camp will be 'Campo Bahia', and it will be a multi-million euro project designed to afford the squad maximum comfort before and during the Brazil tournament.

The project will see the German side housed around 20 miles away from an airfield to travel to stadiums with ease.

National team manager Oliver Bierhoff said: "Given the size of the country and the sometimes very large distances between individual venues, it was important to us to minimise travel stress as much as possible.

"Acclimatisation and recovery will play a major role at the World Cup and the resort offers ideal conditions to prepare for the early kick-off times and the expected heat and high humidity in Salvador, Fortaleza and Recife."

Joachim Low's side will play Portugal in Salvador before travelling to Fortaleza and Recife to play Ghana and USA respectively, and all three venues were rigorously checked by German officials when they travelled to the Confederations Cup in June.

Low spoke about the importance he attributed towards getting the minor details of preparation right ahead of the Brazil tournament.

"We have already seen that it can be the very tiny things, nuances and such things that can depend on whether you reach the final or are eliminated earlier on," the coach said.

Financial support for the plans comes from the sponsors of the national team, which includes Mercedes Benz.

Each group game for the 2002 finalists provides an interesting sub-plot.

The build-up to their opening game against the Portuguese is likely to be dominated by Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo, while their clash with Ghana sees the Boateng brothers, Kevin-Prince and Jerome come up against each other on opposite sides.

Their final match against the United States sees Die Adler come up against former coach and German national Jurgen Klinsmann.

Kudos to Mertesacker for berating Ozil. Curious as to why Ozil wouldn't applaud Gooners for coming to cheer them on. Is it because cheering your supporters isn't as big of a deal at his previous clubs? You do have to take into account that Mertesacker & Ozil are close going back to their time together at Bremen.

Have to finish watching the Barca vs Villareal from my DVR. Had some Christmas shopping to do & had lunch with some relatives from out of town.

Isco is becoming my favorite non Portuguese player, dude will be the best CAM in couple years. Great goal, and nice pass.

 Not if Ancelotti can help it... Proof positive you can have a talent laden side but if you really don't know what you're doing it will really show... I remember last year his PSG side was in 3rd place in Nov/Dec. They were really struggling too which shouldn't have occurred since they had the most talent (money could buy) in Ligue 1.

He's been playing a lot now since Khedira has gone down. Ancelotti won't be at Real for more than a couple years. Isco will be fine. Dude is just too ill.
