The Ultimate Soccer Thread 2010-2011 VOL. Premier league, La Liga, Serie A & Bundesliga

And people were crying about Barca strolling to the final. That was completely one sided.

Hopefully Xavi and Messi can make some magic tomorrow. With the hole at LB and Iniesta out, I'm quite worried.

It's going to be a very tough game tomorrow for us. You cannot go against Madrid with a third of your squad injured. Puyol/Maxerl/Iniesta/Boja/Maxel/Adriano/Abidal are all injured or not at 100%.

The fan inside of me wants to think we're going to be fine but realistically...Guardiola better come up with a good strategy otherwise we're going to get killed.

I never thought Pep would get pulled into the banter with Mou but I must admit that this is awesome

Mou Mind games, love it.

The concurrent suspension to Carvalho and injury to Khedira  is a big blow and causes alot of shifting in the starting XI.

Neuer is a stud. Too bad his team made no effort to go forward.

Can't wait for tomorrow.

I hate Utd, but man they played great, could and should have been 6-0.

It's all about tomorrow though, should be a great game.

Anyone else feel Pep isn't that good of a manager?
What has he reallly done to help the team? Most of
the Barca guys are playing that style when they are
kids and they have such great youth systems. Hard
to really judge his talent as a manager because he
wins though.

^ I think that Pep could show a little bit of more confidence. I understand that he always tries to be polite and never wants to put the spot light on his team but he needs to exert more confidence into the team. It is always "No, the liga is far from over, we could always lose! Or No, "X game" is not going to be easy, we might lose "x game" (always implying that they may lose). I do not want Pep to say that they're going to win every game but just look at Mourinho, whenever asked about a game he always responds along the lines of "We are going to win no matter what" and it may come off as cocky but that confidence helps Madrid. If the players see that the coach's confidence is sky high then their attitude towards a game tends to pick up.
