interesting, but where will he end up playing if they do get him?i know Ramos is adapt at both CB and RB positions...
i believe Ancelotti pairs Thiago Silva with either Alex or Sakho in central defence and they have Jallet and Van der Wiel competing for the RB position...

He would play at RB, Van der Wiel been a flop so far and ended up benched most of the last month or so

Cannot see that Transfer happening though, Real will want to keep Ramos even if for the Spanish influence in the dressing room, He is loved by all the Spanish staff

ZENIT ST PETERSBURG FANS WANT BLACK AND GAY PLAYERS EXCLUDED
A Zenit St Petersburg supporters' group has called for non-white and gay players to be excluded from the team.
The Russian champions' largest fans' group, Landscrona, said in an open-letter that black players are "forced down Zenit's throat".
They added that gay players are "unworthy of our great city".
Dietmar Beiersdorfer, Zenit director of sports, said players were selected "without any limitation regarding origin, religion or skin colour".
Zenit were the only top-flight Russian team without a black player until this summer.
They signed Brazilian striker Hulk and Belgian midfielder Axel Witsel for £64m.
French midfielder Yann M'Vila reportedly turned down a move to the club in August as a result of racist abuse.
Zenit's Italian head coach, Luciano Spalletti described the supporters' call as "stupidity", saying "tolerance for me is most of all the ability to understand and accept differences".
He added: "I can personally assure you that I will do everything I can to help those who seek to explain to people what tolerance is, and the need to respect other cultures and traditions.
"I think that Zenit has proven through its work that the club understands what tolerance is, and what it means to have tolerant behaviour. The team has gathered players from different countries and ethnic groups who work together to achieve a common goal."
The fans' manifesto read: "The absence of black Zenit players is just an important tradition that underlines the team's identity and nothing more."
Black players in the Russian league have been the target of monkey chants and Anzhi Makhachkala's Christopher Samba had bananas thrown at him by fans. Zenit St Petersburg were fined by the Russian Football Union after one of their fans offered Roberto Carlos of Anzhi a banana before a match between the two sides in March 2011.
Zenit are currently third in the Russian Premier League behind leaders CSKA Moscow and Anzhi. They will play in this season's Europa League after finishing third in Champions League Group C.

Wilshere's new Arsenal contract is a five-year deal and comes into force at the end of this season #afc #bbcsportsday

:smokin

Theo is most definitely off, no way the club would have passed on promoting him as part of the young British core of the club if they were confident in getting him to sign on. :(

So Theo dipping to Liverpool?

They look to be signing Sturridge which might put Chelsea in a better position to sign him. I guess he really wants that 100k per week

Altidore's goal from the other day

It's that 100k, and also to play up front.

I can't see any club playing him as CF plus AW is giving him chances up front so I didn't think it was worth mentioning. I think it's just the money right now. He makes what, 75k now, if not 60k? Hopefully they can compromise somehow.

Props to Ramsey who acknowledged that he has been playing ******...also I think he was the only one out the five who didn't get a pay bump and was fine with that regardless of other clubs showing interest. Hopefully he can find his old self.

I don't know man. While it's a bit unfair because the competition at Bradford wasn't the best (ironic in this convo- since they played well), Theo showed glimpses of why he'd be a good CF. Turning off the back of players and leaving them with pace. still has some neat finishing too. I don't think someone like Chelsea or Juve would take him up front. But I think there may be a club or two out there that would be interested to talk...

True but how many clubs are in the CL or have a good chance to be in the CL next season. I feel that's something he would look for too. Which really narrows it down....but yea idk, it's hard to say

mouth watering.

Their clash in 02-03 is one of my favorites ever. First leg... Figo's sublime chip shot. Raul brace after being hailed by Sir Alex as "Best Player in the World."
Second leg... Ronaldo hat-trick. Standing ovation for him from United fans. Madrid own goal. Ruud goal. Beckham free kick.

Now? attacking talent galore. Sir Alex vs. Mourinho. CR7's return to Old Trafford. GREAT story lines.

Shakhtar and Dortmund is a fine match up. Both teams can turn up the pace. Both teams have outstanding home stadium crowds.

You've gotta feel for Arsenal when it comes to these draws.. Terrible luck every time.
