Gonz killed me man. I wanted to destroy Barca and he blew 3-4 easy chances IMO. Benz would've easily had 2-3 goals today. Nonetheless, great win.

Ronaldo's heel flip and goal was amazing. One of the best goal's I've seen so far.

I want another wing too. Di Maria just isn't consistent and Callejon...do not want.

So he came in here to compete with Ozil? Not sure if that helps us, I can see Mourinho starting Modric and Ozil in the future tho.

Strangely enough, I'd even say that Modric and Ozil are very different. I feel like Ozil is a very big assister. Modric plays deeper than Ozil.

Compare Modric to more of a Scholes like player (without the reckless tackles), simplicity and accuracy are Modric's strong points.

:lol good with both feet too. He's crucial for his NT

I'm late to this party, but when the **** did Benzema become a gilt edge finisher in y'all book? I'm pretty sure Gonzalo was near the top (if not at the top) of La Liga last season in conversion rate of chances, and yes, maybe today he didn't take them, but he is usually very reliable. Also, as much as you would like to say Benzema would have taken those chances, I highly doubt that Benz would make the intelligent runs to get in the spaces that Gonzalo does.

Not saying that one is better than the other, because for me, it's a toss up, and I would take either, but some of you guys are being hyperbolic (as usual) and quite silly about this.

The Valdes error in the 1st leg gave Madrid that bit of hope and they took advantage of it at home.

Not having Alves really hurt. It was shocking to see Adriano starting at RB. Not sure what happened to Dani...

Barca still needs a CB with pace (paging sideshow bob). Pique and Masch basically gave RM both goals.
Masch swing and miss :{
Pique going to goal instead of running with Ronaldo and pressuring him :{ So you got beat... don't give up on the ball :{

Valiant effort by a 10 man Barca squad

Congrats to RM tho

Afellay is going to Schalke.

When Wenger says they're bringing in players, they're bringing in players.

He said a two or three will arrive...we got until Friday @ 7pm est, I will be watching SSN as normal, hopefully Hayley McQueen will be working it. :smokin

I think he would be a good addition for us...but I'm not aware of the latest transfer news on him.

I would love to slide tackle her in the box :hat

Cesc won't come back to Arsenal, but if he did...I would fly to the Emirates and show my meat on tv.

**** Sahin, a loan for Cesc and its kind of crazy how good the attack would look.

--Arteta - Wilshere
---- Fabregas
Cazorla-Podolski- Ox

Again, get it done Arsene.

Alves got injured in preparing for the game, Adriano was a late replacement for him.

What lost Barca the match was the Valdés mistake dribble fumble that led to the Di María goal in the first leg. Had that not happened, Barca would have won even with 10 guys only in the second leg.

I think Barca did well with 10 guys, really held themselves, even though I was expecting more from them.

FWIW, neither team has really played to their top potential so far this season.

Iniesta has been pretty quite and Xavi. The Barca defense has been quite often. They have relied to much on Messi's offense to bail them out to much. Alexis isn't doing much except flopping unnecessarily.

This is coming from a Barca fan.

Say what you will, but Ronaldo has been struggling also. Sure that goal was nice and everything, but that was about the only shade of good offense he showed in this match and pretty much the only offense notable we've seen him from since the pre-season.

Real's been struggling also a lot. They're lucky the Soldado goal was annulled as they called him being offside even though he wasn't, because they'd have 0 points so far, luckily they were able to hold on to a draw with Valencia which gave them 1 point at least.

I really some of the other teams stepping up this season in La Liga and giving Real and Barca a run for the money for the title. I like Atlético's and Valencia's chances to give both clubs a run for their money for the title this season.
