The Walking Dead - Official Thread

was 400 days add on worth it or not? waiting on s2 but not sure if 400 days is crucial to the clementine story from s1. And yeah everyone should play s1. Amazing story.

Not IMO, DLC didn't have the same impact as the whole season. Might be because they had 4 characters with each character having 20 minutes a pop in the DLC. It gives good background to some events that happened during the season and what happened after the first season. I would only recommend it if you really want to know the background information but don't expect the same emotional impact as the whole first season because there is just not enough time to develop all 4 characters. I say just watch it on youtube and save the $5.

I loved Telltale's story of TWD, but as a game it wasn't very "gamey" to me.  More like a choose your own adventure movie with some interactions thrown in to be able to call it a game.

Nonetheless, it's still a great story.  Those last episode feels.

Yeah I know. They showed a little bit of it in the season 4 preview while ago. I'm sure it'll look good,  it's just not gonna have the same effect from him doing it in a closed room.

You're the dude who was always posting spoilers last season right?

Why do you post spoilers?

We'll all eventually know what happens so why do you feel the need to always post spoilers?

I appreciate that you're being considerate by putting them in actual spoilers.
Cuz people like to read em, maybe?
I get that, but do most people like to read them?
I would assume no.

I'm not saying that he should stop posting spoilers.
I'm just wondering why he posts spoilers.
Is he posting them just to post them or is he planning on discussing said spoilers with someone.
I'm just curious.
Its in a spoiler. This season is going to be nuts based on those things. 8o

I'm saying they are set in the same universe. I remember them saying that the game is canon to the comics world.
Naw, they're separate universes. Like the character Lilly, whose father name was Everett Ray Caul in the comics, while in the game her father name is Larry. She's from Marietta in the comics, not Macon.

Edit- I did some reading while making this post. I wonder was the game tied to the comics as well when it first dropped. Info I got from TWDwiki Kirkman originally said they were different universes using the Lilly character as an example. Reading now, except Lilly, Glen and Herschel's story has been tied to both the comics and game.

So yeah, I guess they are set in the same universe. But I definitely remember reading before they weren't.
