The Walking Dead - Official Thread

Technically, this dude isn't the first openly-gay character, right? Tara?

He talks too much. No chill whatsoever. I don't necessarily think he is lying about the place, but something is off. The sound of children playing beyond the gate seemed manufactured. No people in the photos. No people in the preview. I just have no idea what the motive would be. It is all probably a red herring, anyway.

Also, were the special effects noticably awful to anyone else? Really weird blood spatter when Abe stabbed a walker. When Glenn went to get up after his close encounter, he pushed on the walker's chest and it absorbed his hand like a pillow or something. Maybe I just never noticed before.

Rick aint no slouch. He's like fool me one time, shame on you, fool me twice, can't put the blame on u. Fool me three times, f the "peace" sign, load the choppa let it rain on u.

I would've hidden a gun too. Dude following and listening to me and my camp and I'm supposed to be coo with that after the luck we've had, nah b.

Yeah man. Can't blame Rick for being cautious at all times. The world's been too crazy, so I can't blame him for not letting his guard down yet, like everyone else.

But it's to the point like Rick doesn't trust anyone now :lol

J. Crew dude clearly shows he's been truthful of everything so far.

Anything is better than what they were going through in that barn.

That's been the lowest point of the group since they've been together and they looked like they were on the verge of dying.

I'm so tempted to go online and see what this dudes angle is and read spoilers, but I will refrain from doing so.

Also, I thought I heard children playing towards the end of that episode, but then when they showed the previews I still don't see other people just them.

Again, I'm thinking Rick's group was brought in more so for protection than anything else.

Did Gabriel and Tara even get any lines?

They were basically extras in the episode. I agree with whoever posted last week that there are too many characters in the group now.

I don't think so I mean look at Lost that show had so many characters and was incredible with making it work.

Speaking of that I think this Aron dude might be like the "others" from Lost for some reason.

It makes no sense to just go up to a group of strangers in the apocalypse and be friendly to them.

^
Lost was an awesome show until their last season. This show and its writers aren't as good. My bae Rosita needs more screen time.

what?

it doesnt matter who these jabronis are, the rick's gonna layeth the smacketh down on their candy *****

Rick is playing it right and he said why hinself. It's ine thing to protect your neck but to have to care for a family? The baby? I mean it's a whole other ball game of paranoia. The last they went to had people going to EAT them. If I was Rick I would of stripped the dudes butt naked before going to sleep. Kept their shoes so that if they wanted to run they'd think twice

They looked close to a major city, I would hold up the crew in some suburbs and be good

This rural stuff isn't cool. This isn't the 1800s

That's DC bro :lol

If they're in Arlington that's about a 15min drive. If they follow the zombie apocalypse rule book though you always want to avoid major cities because it'll be full of zombies for sure. Best bet is to stay away from them

Either or, actual people seem to be more of a problem than zombies.

Generally, any area that once had population would be

1. Full of zombies
2. Already looted for supplies
3. Already inhabited
4. Doesn't contain wildlife or other sources of food/water

The country side sucks but it is really the safest bet

So, was Eugene trying to lead them to this place the whole time and using the cure as a decoy? His is kinda weird like the new guys.

Interesting episode. Kinda want to get into the comics to get a heads up on what's ahead. If it was me after Terminus and Woodberry I wouldn't have even entertained this guy's foolishness.

i wouldnt give them our weapons b. flatout.

cats be like 'first thing, give us all your weapons and you can stay'

i'd be like 'ok, first thing, wash your face, you gets nathan. We'll just stay out here, oh and we keeping these whips ya bish foh'

Sounds like another "Governor " to me , give me all your weapons you'll be safe .. And I heard children's running around but on the preview there's absolutely no one living there .

Glen gonna die. A few weeks ago he was on a morning radio show in Ny chopping it up. Seems like he has some time on his hands
