The Walking Dead - Official Thread

I was thinking that while these four are trying to overtake woodbury the governer is sending out a party to go check out the prison and the only person there that can do worth a damn is Carl :{

Am I the only person that doesn't watch this. I caught part of an episode and liked it, but not sure If I should start all the way from the beginning. How long would it take?
SHOULDNT TAKE LONG..FIRST SEASON IS 6 EPISODES...THEN SECOND I THINK IS 13 AND THEY JUST AIRED THE 7 TODAY OF THE THIRD SEASON

Also one more thing...

This governor dude is not making any sense with his actions.

Like why is he trying to out other living groups it makes no sense whatsoever.

If he was smart he would have recruited the military dudes as well as Ricks group and stick together so they would be strong by numbers.

He's worried that there are 10 people held up in the prison... why is he worried for?

Let them be and have their own thing and he stays to his own thing.

Is he power hungry or something and just wants to the ruler of the rebuilding world that the people that aren't workers are trying to rebuild?

The amc channel is unavailable right now.

He is just starting a dictatorship!!! I just want a showdown between the Governor and Rick!!!
plus..I want Andrea to die! she has made it to far!!

^ Word. Even with the country in disarray, I doubt the military cats would just sit there and take orders from a civilian just because. He's scared someone will overpower him.

I am predicting that the war between team prison and team Woodbury is going to leave us with the death of a character--but whom? Hmm...it won’t be Herschel or Carol, because they both recently had a brush with death. I don’t think it will be Michonne either because she has just been introduced this season. It obviously won’t be Rick, as he is the glue that holds the show together. It won’t be Carl, either, because the writers have already done the whole kill-a-child-to-shock-the-viewers thing. The Governor won’t be the victim, because like Michonne, he is too new to the show so it really wouldn’t deeply effect the audience. That leaves the following characters: Daryl, Andrea, Glenn, Maggie, or Merle. I could see one of two scenarios playing out. First, I really don’t see Maggie or Glenn getting killed off, because it would be the most obvious scenario--they showed them both at gunpoint in next week’s episode trailer. It is possible that Daryl and Merle meet in battle, and one of the two kills the other (my money would be on Merle dying in this scenario). It is also possible that the show plays off The Governor’s newly found closeness with Andrea and kill her off of the show. I think Andrea’s death is the more likely scenario, as Frank Darabont (creator) has focused more so on Andrea and the Gov than he has Daryl and Merle.

Was the black dude using the spotlight tyrese? He kinna looked like chad Coleman,or am I reaching?8o

These mid season finales highlight how much of a joke AMC is. They need to get their act together with their secondary program so that these shows are strong enough to carry the Spring/Summer sweeps. Having to wait months to get the second half of a season is god damned shame. They need to take cues from FX and USA who somehow manage to do the same on basic cable. Yes I'm mad.
I hate the breaking up the season into 2 parts crap. They wouldn't dare do that to Mad Men but love doing it to TWD and BB to make us suffer.

The governor is such a perv. Maggie has small boobs anyway. I would've made her take everything off to see what that thang look like :{.

Didn't they do that with Mad Men this season?

Tonight's episode was solid. Definitely liked the background music helping with the tone of the story. Hopefully next week's mid-season finale will be mind blowing, I feel like the episode of Lori's death was on season finale status.

^
I don't remember them breaking up the season. I thought they aired all the episodes continuously. My memory sucks, someone correct me if i'm wrong.

ya'll know someone is gonna die next week...who do you think it is??

Rumors that Chad Coleman would be joining the cast of AMC's "The Walking Dead" as Tyreese before the end of season three have been confirmed. According to an exclusive report from The Hollywood Reporter today, Coleman has indeed signed on to play the comic book fan favorite.

Best known for his work on "The Wire," Coleman has also appeared in "I Hate My Teenage Daughter," "The Good Wife," and "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia."

One of the most iconic and beloved characters from the comic book, Tyreese is a former Atlanta Falcons linebacker who arrives on the scene with his teenage daughter and her boyfriend to join the group before they ever reach Hershel's farm. A certifiable zombiepocalypse bad-***, Tyreese quickly becomes Rick's right-hand-man (and sparring partner) and gets into romantic entanglements with both Carol and Michonne.

Chad Coleman has been cast as Tyreese, who will appear on "The Walking Dead" in episode eight of the third season.

Series creator Robert Kirkman had hinted that a new character from the comic books would show up on screen in the eighth episode of season three. That hint combined with the fact that Coleman was spotted in Atlanta near the set of "The Walking Dead" had fans connecting the dots.

Coleman will make his "The Walking Dead" debut as Tyreese on Sunday, December 2nd.

So THAT'S why they keep showing him!!!!
