The Walking Dead - Official Thread

The show is is starting to get bad... first they killed carl and now rick is leaving smh... what if they just got a new guy to play rick kinda like aunt viv on fresh prince

Didn’t realize the show has been on so long now. Understandable for some actors to want to move on after 8-9 years.

they should show that the governor survived the headshot and been building his army again and then have it be Negan v Governor

I hate how either the shows dwells(Carl) on characters after they die or barely acknowledges them(Glenn).

They're going to be in Rick aftermath grieving for two seasons. I'm not going to be able to take that. I'm about to be done with this show.

Interesting to see whats going to happen with Rick and Maggie too since she may also be leaving. Makes you wonder if the whole plot between Maggie and Rick that they showed in the last episode will come to a head. Hard to imagine what the show will be like in season 9.

Confirmed today she gone too. So 2 of the main characters in the comic who are still alive are gone. :lol It's time to wrap this series up...

Fear the Walking Dead.........I don't even know what they're doing now. Flashbacks within flashbacks. :lol

It was hard to follow last Sundays episode.

The flashback within a flashback makes it really hard to tell when in the timeline a person is dead. Also why did the Nick and his sister just sit there in the car while the slow zombies walked up to them.

They clearly could have driven up to the gate and inside. Stuff like that is ridiculous. Doesnt make sense.

I was starting think they changed the air day of fear. Y'all only talk about the **** during the wk :lol

 @ Darryl being the lead. They really need to wrap this garbage up.

Hope they just all die form a herd of walkers and play a solo-mo montage of them all dying. That would be the only thing that’ll save the show for me.

Governor is the 1 behind the group of people with the helicopter, Governor vs Negan

Fear took a giant plunge into the toilet this season. My wife said they fired the old director and brought in the guy from TWD. Which makes a ton of sense

daryl being the lead dont even make sense since hes not in the comics... but with maggie and rick gone its the only choice... this is why they shouldnt of killed off carl :smh:

Carl died so the show could die. He started the rule of 3. Now we can be rid of TWD is due time.

I have ZERO idea what Fear is doing now.

Either the cast wants out, or they have no idea what they're doing. These decisions make no sense. :{

not even gon' lie, i don't watch FTWD but was watching Badland and they previewed talking dead and showed her and had to google her real quick

ended up watching the whole talking dead show because she looked mesmerizing in that red dress and I can't even stand the host

Forreal, I ain't notice the other two sittin next to her, it was just her the whole show. Even when they did that mock read with all 4 reading the same thing, I just stared at her the whole time. :lol

mid season finale was solid. interested to see where this goes with this group of characters now that madison is gone (or is she? :lol )

kim dickens must've asked for the bag during negotiations :lol
wasn't there talk of madison and rick crossover?

i guess talking dead about to be dead too...

Chris Hardwick Wiped From Nerdist Website He Founded Amid Allegations By Ex-Girlfriend

Chris Hardwick, the Nerdist founder and host of NBC’s game show The Wall, AMC’s Talking Dead aftershow and a regular emcee in Hall H at Comic-Con, has been scrubbed from the Nerdist website he founded after being accused of sexual abuse and “long-term abuse” by his former girlfriend Chloe Dykstra.

Legendary Entertainment, which owns Nerdist Industries where Hardwick launched his career as a comic and podcaster, just released a statement.

“Chris Hardwick had no operational involvement with Nerdist for the two years preceding the expiration of his contract in December 2017,” it reads. “He no longer has any affiliation with Legendary Digital Networks. The company has removed all reference to Mr. Hardwick even as the original Founder of Nerdist pending further investigation.”

The move comes after Dykstra, a TV personality and host, penned a first-person account of their three-year relationship that posted on Medium. Dykstra never mentioned Hardwick by name, but details about the “mildly successful podcaster” who grew into “a powerhouse CEO of his own company” suggest she was referring to him.

Dykstra, in an essay she said was part closure and part warning, detailed a relationship in which she was restricted from going out at night, having male friends, or speaking in public places, and was the victim of sexual assault. “I was expected to be ready for him when he came home from work,” she writes.

“I lost myself, both mentally and physically. I lost 15 lbs within weeks, started pulling out my hair (and had to get extensions regularly to hide it),” she wrote. “I generally stopped speaking unless spoken to while with him, drifting through life like a ghost. I would try to sleep in as late as possible so my days were shorter. I stopped listening to music entirely. I ceased to be. I was an ex-person.”

Dykstra said she left Hardwick after three years, and that after the breakup he made calls to companies “to get me fired by threatening to never work with them,” and that he and a female colleague “steamrolled my career.”

Deadline has not independently confirmed Dykstra’s accusations.

In March, NBC renewed its Hardwick-hosted game show The Wall for a 20-episode third season, though no premiere date was announced. AMC also just announced his summer bridge talk show Talking With Chris Hardwick returns this Sunday.

On Thursday, BBC America announced that Hardwick would moderate the network’s Doctor Who panel at Comic-Con in San Diego next month. Hardwick, a Comic-Con panel host staple, is also penciled in to host AMC’s The Walking Dead panel in Hall H as in years past.

NBC and AMC have not responded to requests for comment on Dykstra’s post, and reps for Hardwick also declined comment.

Didn’t know he didn’t really work on nerdist stuff anymore. Was wondering why Chloe started keeping a low profile. Enjoyed her cosplay stuff.

yeah, she had a short stint on that cosplay show with R1ddle and Yaya and she was supposedly starting out but then later on you never really saw her on the circuit

she had an advantage too because her dad worked in special effects, on that show iirc she got Grant from mythbusters to help her
