I'm gonna guess there's some drake fans in here [emoji]128514[/emoji]

Tory got talent. He has vocals and killed that dancehall flow

Tory is meh. That album was trash and he was trying way to hard to tell that story. And i swear bruh sounded like four different rappers on that album

Nothing Without You is that deep stroke music :smh: :smokin

The chorus times the strokes

Album is starting to get old to me already
Dream Collabs would be Cudi and i would like to hear a back and forth with him and Lana. I still think they could make a great concept album together.

The album seemed dull to me initially, then several songs grew on me fast, now it's back on the shelf

I don't think it has the shelf life for me personally, like someone mentioned before, you have to be in a certain mood for a lot of these songs...

To me the reason it doesn't have a lasting shelf life is due to the refrains, lyrics and structure... too basic and simple on a lot of the tracks

i think this whole album was about bella

1. Starboy ft. Daft Punk

after the success of BBTM he is now a superstar, reveling in his success

2. Party Monster

partying it up, he meets bella, who is as voracious as he is

3. False Alarm

he has to check himself here, before he falls too fast

4. Reminder

and just in case you forgot, here's a reminder of who he is

5. Rockin'

he's still interested in pursuing bella, just casually

6. Secrets

as things get deeper, he begins to learn more about her

7. True Colors

he finally sees her for who she is behind the partying lifestyle

8. Stargirl Interlude ft. Lana Del Rey

here she pulls back, upon feeling so vulnerable

9. Sidewalks ft. Kendrick Lamar

he tries to move on, back to the streets

10. Six Feet Under ft. Future

meanwhile she is dead inside, only motivated by the life

11. Love to Lay

however he knows how much she love to lay

12. A Lonely Night

and on a lonely night, she reaches out

13. Attention

he knows now what it is she truly wants

14. Ordinary Life

and here he realizes there will never be an ordinary life between them

15. Nothing Without You

however a life without her is nothing

16. All I Know ft. Future

he knows that much

17. Die For You

he cant say it any plainer

18. I Feel It Coming ft. Daft Punk

the day will come she'll come back

also did anybody add those new songs to their starboy?

^^^

You looking too deep fam, he said he had some of these songs since BBTM.

**** ain't even written intricately enough to have that level of meaning, half the songs are just generic pop.

I like the album but there is no story or theme or anything. BBTM had a real clear story and flow to it (even though they had to throw on a couple extra old songs). This one doesn't really make the effort at all.

Disappointing way to step back. There is no label pressure or whatever to make your album NOT have a theme or flow cohesively. That's just a choice he made.

His "grime" songs were simply watered down King of the Fall's or Low Life's.. disappointing...

I'll wait on his features where he always shines

False Alarm > king of the falloff.

Dead srs.

The drop and chorus in FA sounds like the music that would play during a racing scene in a fast and furious movie.

I've been trying to figure out what it reminded me of for a minute now.
