I don’t know how it’ll sustain itself for another 30 years.

The amount of toxic masculinity that it essentially endorses combined with the tangible physical long term effects of playing the sport has me thinking it won’t last much longer relatively speaking
As long as you have poverty and dudes who see this as their only way out, football will be in business.

Here yas go.. more simmons shooting to go with the title

Them handles though, looks like they got quicker.

Hes gonna be on one this season

ben looking nasty af in this vid. if he can play in summer runs all year, he'd be goat status.

Ben's just trolling with those jumpers. Once the season starts its all layups/dunks and the seldom 10 footer

Ben Simmons dribble package is funny lol
He need to spend some more VC on new animations :lol

How many chips do you think they would have won?

How many dynasties have won more than 3 chips during their reign?

I don't think it's inconceivable for them to have at least won another championship together.....they won 3, but can you imagine if Kobe/Shaq were always on the same page?

Kobe wasn’t a starter until ‘99, Spurs clearly the best team that year anyway. Duncan missed the playoffs the next year, they won it all, then won the next 2.

Spurs caught them after that, 3rd leading scorer was Fish at 10 ppg. Detroit caught them after that, Fish again was the 3rd leading scorer at SIX ppg

Then Shaq left but even if he stayed, players 3-12 on that team got worse and worse every year, and you can’t win rings with only 2 guys. They had no money to properly reload either because Kobe & Shaq took up the vast majority of the cap.

Detroit made it back to the finals the next year and would’ve knocked them out again

Great points....especially about Derek Fisher :lol

That’s cool. If I had Bron money, I’d probably host a shopping spree for a kid at somewhere other than Wal-Mart, but still cool...

Net serious at all. Good for LeBron

good come back by shaq. kobe got a pass for that series. He clearly was trying to be the MAN, trying to win MVP finally and what happened? he shot less than 40% AND you got out played by 2 guards who won't ever make HOF. clearly the worst finals performance by HOF player with at least 2 rings in NBA/WNBA history. know your role, shaq was better you were just a sidekick kobe. if lebron had a series like that he gets killed left and right

See: Lebron 2011.

You sound really hurt

damn do you guys know how to read? hurt how?
1. again nobody knocks kobe for that series why not? its fact he stunk T/F???
2. lebron 2011? mavs? i'm pretty sure lebron didnt have 2 rings....thats 1. 2 it was the first year he was playing with those teammates.....3. i'd take guess his series stats were no way nearly as poor as kobes in that pistons series....... maybe dirk a HOF out played lebron, but lebron didnt get out played by 2 NON HOF guards like kobe did.....you would think the great kobe stopper would have at least shut down one of those guards.....bad O and D? thats classic case of HOF player, who was a 3 time champ STINKING IT UP and all because he had to go for MVP rather than defer to the better player....

hurt nah kobe egg it was fun to watch. and won $500 off laker fan that year...that was a great year for me. def not hurt

Kobe played selfishly in that finals but again WHO was going to take those shots? The next four players in minutes

35 yr old Gary Payton at 33mpg on 32/20/50
40 yr old Karl Malone at 31 (3 games) mpg on 33/0/67
Devean George at 21mpg on 39/33/50
Derek Fisher at 20 mpg on 30/37/57

Kobe was playing 46 minutes per game and the only guy capable of even getting close to creating his own offense.... but he was the reason they lost that series :lol:. Point blank that pistons team was one of the best defensive squads in league history & they Lakers were playing 2 on five on offense. So while Kobe did play selfish during that series who the **** else was getting anything done.

but bron doesn’t get a pass in 2006. ok

Not inconceivable but it’s pretty unlikely IMO by 03 they were playing pargo/rush/Slava playoff minutes. Their idea of improving was adding a 35 yr old Karl Malone and a 40 yr old GP.

They were aging out and there was just no way of improving that roster around Kobe and Shaq even if they were on the same page

The Toronto Raptors easily hold a firm spot on the best sports logos of all time list. Every iteration of it has been great.
