I don't really know the details of how defensive rating is calculated but I'm assuming defensive rating for each player, is in part impacted by the team's overall defense.
Eye test, Lonzo can still defend. But the nba Is a pick and roll league and it takes at least two men to guard the pick and roll.
The bigs are not much help. Okafor seems to be a minus defender. Favors hasn't been that great this year. Hayes might be the best defending big man the pelicans have. And he's a rookie.

Nets have the perfect team to counter our defense esp when brett dont have the 5 step up on PnR.. EASY Buckets in the paint everytime. Nets cooked us in the paint yesterday
no excuses.. Sixers suck on the road and seriously need to figure the woes out big time before it starts getting later in the season
