He's been a moron, but the punishment he's gotten up to this point has been overkill and exacerbated the situation much more than it needed to be. Wouldn't even be a situation if Heat didn't make a point out of trying him so severely.
Heat's dealt with stuff like this much cleaner and much easier in the past, like Whiteside had done worse in terms of haggling for mins, but rightfully, just received a few fines. Waiters got 10 games for team disruption, which's unreasonable, even if he would have been suspended for substance abuse it would have been maybe half of that or less. And the new charge, I don't fully understand. From the outside, looks like both JJ and Waiters are being dunce'd-- Haven't a clue what to make of JJ being disciplined early on, but it was weird, and he's still not even playing garbage time
