the problem with jordan brand is you cant really create a true signature shoe with another man’s trademark and name on it from the same profession

Agreed.
Stupidity for Nike to allow Zion and Luka to go to Jordan Brand. Not sure what these negotiations are looking like but it doesn’t make any sense to go with them over Nike unless the money is waaay far apart. Because they’ll both make up for it in other ventures regardless.

Maybe we’re not taking the international market enough into account in thinking about this. I’m assuming non-retro Jordan Brand shoes sell better overseas than they do in the US. I can’t imagine they made 13 years of CP3 shoes if they weren’t making a profit on them.
Plus, maybe it just feels special to Luka to be the first white, foreign-born player to get signed by MJ’s shoe brand?

If they gonna sit Lebron they may as well sit AD also since he's still dealing with the ankle and played big minutes vs The Bucks. Denver isn't a team we have to worry about come playoff time get reps against them later. Need them to be healthy for the Christmas game

idgaf if they were seeded #1 a team with Jamal Murray as the #2 option isn't beating a healthy Lakers squad in a playoff series, they just don't match up well against us. And no it's not worth it for are two Superstars to play through injuries to play the Nuggets

It’s crazy that folks in here are confused about why dudes would sign to Jordan Brand.
Picture yourself being 20 years old and having the company whose iconic shoes you’ve been wearing your entire life offer you a giant bag on top of putting you in closer touch with the greatest to ever do it in your sport. Seems like a no-brainer.
Luka/Tatum/Zion is a nice young trio for them.

Yeah bro they’ve done a spectacular job with Melo, CP3 and Westbrook’s shoes over the years flying off the shelves. Kemba, Jimmy and Blake, other All-Stars they’ve done nothing for.
All I’m saying is I don’t know how Nike didn’t offer them more being that they literally OWN the brand they signed to. And both of them could still wear and get whatever Jordan’s they want.
