Ahhh yeah man EXACT same situation. Completely see where you’re coming from comparing that situation to a fan courtside during a tie game with a couple minutes left throwing a towel in the air behind the glass backboard as the player was shooting to distract him. Something that people posted videos of multiple players getting technicals for doing all the way from the BENCH let alone right there courtside literally right behind the basket. That honestly sounds exactly like two dumb kids like 10 rows up being like “**** you *****!” because of missing out on a 99 cent Frostee after a player on the opposing team missed a free throw while the team they’re a fan of was up by 20+ in the 4th quarter.
I mean bro that’s literally what it was. The Frostee Freezout thing is a complete joke that the fans all get in on getting all excited whenever a player misses two free throws in a row in the second half. I’ve been excited about that **** myself a lot of times I’ve been there and I’ve not once even claimed the free Frostee afterwards
Yes, players deal with a lot of hateful **** said to them and about them, but this wasn’t one of them. I can assure you dude wasn’t actually mad about missing out on his Frostee.

It’s not a personal attack or was it even remotely offensive (unless you in jail being called a female dog should have you fired up, and i know some in here can attest to that as well)...sure our parents told us to never take **** from someone but seriously if the female dog word gets you upset you need to look in the mirror esp if you already 100x better off than the person calling you the word (ex a fan calling an NBA player it)

This. It’s not complicated. Plus, as a parent, if I take my kid to the game, I’m not going to be happy if I have some jack-*** nearby hurling obscenities at players.
The whole concept of yelling out-of-pocket stuff at athletes during sporting events has always mystified me. Just unnecessary and corny IMO.

I can post videos of guys getting their jaw crashed for saying **** you. The only reason they uttered that **** is cause they felt safe in a crowd. They wouldn't dare say it on the street.

Never cursed at them or disrespected them. Just non stop talking.
I was going non stop at evan longoria one time. Kept telling him to wake up and be ready cuz the next ones coming to him. He ended up making an error on a play and he didnt hear the end of it for the whole game. Think my dude went 0 for 4 that game too
"Come onnnm EVAN. Thats why i told you be ready! You gotta make plays out there bro, lets gooooo come on. On your toes EVAN lets goooo"
Told him im gonna trade him in the video game, had yunel escobar at shortstop dying laughing. Told him why you laughing yunel, youre not even in the video game
