Do you think that if he played alongside an all-star wing like VC or TMac early in his career rather than being forced to be a #1 that he could have been closer to achieving that?

Yea. When he was forced to be #1 he was putting up solid numbers. Factor in some draft misses (Carney, Speights) and Jrue/Turner, he never had the change

He did avg like 17, 5, 5, 2 steals with AI but he never improved as a scorer or shooter. His game got stagnant at one point.

Making the necessary trades to actually have a competent and maybe finally visually pleasing team for the first time all year >>>> one game against the Bucks on the road.

But embiid could just be a player that's never in real shape, Simmons may never ever shoot and Tobias could have reached his ceiling 3 years ago
Horford signing and losing jimmy and redick isn't on Brett Brown.
And besides all that, Philly is what? 31-20? Right where most people thought they would be if you ask me. (Give or take a few games)
