I sort of understand choosing the 2021 pick since you can’t trade 1st round picks in consecutive seasons...and it’s a stronger draft. But **** why the protection? Not when they had all the leverage.

Fully expecting Wiggins to prove some folks wrong and flourish now that he gets to play with a squad that legit wanted him. Man was tossed in as a makeweight right after getting drafter and got extended out of necessity by a bad franchise
Finally gets a clean slate under a team that know's what they're doing and have had a winning mindset. Gonna be fun to watch him play with little pressure once Steph and Klay come back, he's got plenty of room to grow/improve at 24 and he'll get the chance to without much pressure
Fair, but he has been what he is since Kansas and I'm not even exaggerating. This is how he always has played. Maybe his passing has gotten slightly better.
I will say being a third option rather than a second option should unlock his abilities. Also, he'll be able to flourish off the ball in that Warriors system.
This is all an idealistic viewpoint on Wiggins. I just feel like he is what he is.
