I don't think you can travel to Tokyo right now without a documented work reason anyway lol. Don't take my word for it, though.. At my job we were just discussing what countries we're allowed and not allowed to travel to and I think tokyo is among the group of countries where you need documentation.

I know South Korea Iran and mainland China are definitely no -no's. Then I think italy tokyo and hong kong is where you'd need a specific work reason (but can't remember)

Games can still be televised my G, stadiums will have to eat losses. That said this isn't at pandemic levels yet so I wouldn't get too worried.

Fan-less games are the norm at sporting events (i.e. certain Olympic events, etc...).
