Clips biggest problem now is Doc has to figure out before playoffs roll around. It's not about staying healthy & load managing PG and Kawhi anymore.
It's making Doc have to figure out what is their best lineups going forward especially in the clutch last 4 to 5 minutes of games. Them stacking the team with guys like: Reggie Jackson, Marcus Morris etc has now created problems where it's taking minutes away from guys like Pat Bev, Lou Will, and Shamet.
Doc got out coached last Sunday by Vogel.

I'm pretty sure the Majority of Laker fans had us coming out the West whether we lost to ya'll four times in a row.
All that & the Bucks win was make it easier to laugh at all the pundits & talking heads come to grips with the fact that the Lakers are legit

yeah this isn’t a difficult fix just swap Lou out of the closing lineup for a bigger defender and run all of your offense through Kawhi (or PG if he doesn’t disappear). Lebron is gunna attack the smaller defender (PatBev, Lou or Shamet) every time and that’s recipe for disaster. Think the 5th player to pair with Kawhi/PG/Morris/Trez will be Green or Patterson. The Lakers have smaller wings in their death lineup and the Clippers should try to take advantage of that.
Think the Lakers will still eat with Bron+AD+shooters though.. Trez tries hard and has improved defensively but he’s not slowing down Anthony Davis at the 5.

But AD eating isn’t going to kill LAC. Rewatched the game and AD was making some good shots. If he’s making those it’s a wrap anyway. I don’t think the defense on him was bad. If he takes those shots against LAC in the offs and catching the ball outside the paint, I’ll take that. Avery Bradley is what killed LAC and ultimately that’ll decide the series
I feel like it’ll come down to role players. PG Kawhi Bron and AD more or less will do their ****, but if Morris, Shamet, Green etc aren’t making shots the clips are screwed. Conversely kcp Bradley kuzma etc will make or break the Lakers

I guess we'll see, but Doc doesn't take kindly to benching his bigger named guys/ Vets historically. Also that lineup would be solid defensively in terms of switching, But that's Asking A LOT from Kawhi & PG to create considering that isn't a strong spot for any of them. Morris & Trez are also heavy on Isos and can be ball stoppers.
But again we will see

Doc isn't a bad coach. They'll watch the tape and see what they did wrong.
And beside....if Marcus didnt play like complete and utter trash, clippers win, and this conversation is drastically different, even with lebrons heroics. MArcus had 1 pt b. 1. Nobody can bank on that happening. Or betting Avery finishes a game with a point disparity to marcus of 24:1. Couple more shots from him, maybe if dudes didnt miss 9 FT's...who knows.
I'd assume the clippers aren't worried. Those are easy adjustments. Wasn't a lack of talent or anything, which would be harder to overcome.

None of the Lakers fans in this thread or the Laker season thread expect that from AB on a nightly basis or in a 7 game series against the Clips or anyone else.
The difference though is the Lakers got other guys like: Danny Green, Kuz, KCP, and other bench guys that can step up in the playoffs when opposing teams double team Lebron & AD.

the Lakers don’t need one particular player to be the 3rd option. They just need any one of their 5-6 role players to provide that scoring punch on a given night.
