Forgot which rabbit hole I was going down yesterday but I thought about it and Shaq was really traded for LO, Caron Butler, Brian Grant and a future first. That’s criminal. Only justification is I guess he was 31/32 putting up 22/12/3/2.5 blks (but still that point his career averages were still 27/12/3/2.5 blks)
Maybe one of the older heads (pmatic ,
darthska , @CP1708) can shed some light because I was younger at the time so I can’t remember the other potential offers. Or do y’all think that was fair given Shaq’s age?

Yea it’s getting slow in here.
He’s always on the sidelines every night with whatever team Cousins is on. He travels with him everywhere even for workouts. I only know this cause I’ve been with them in the gym. Seems like nothing but that’s pretty crazy he was on the opposing sideline against the Lakers right after he got waived a week or two ago.

Sheeesh Jimmy saying that Brett told him during the season that Ben was gonna run point all season and come the Toronto series he changed it abruptly without even mixing it in. Ben was pissed about it and now it makes sense why he doesn’t listen to Brett to shoot 3s

Definitely starts at the top with Josh Harris. He’s only worried about money. Michael Rubin is basically best buddies with Jo, Ben, Tobias (re SB LIV)
The last decision the ownership made was hiring Brown 7 years ago. Silver stepped in to hand us Jerry Colangelo. Hinkie resigned. Bryan Colangelo was brought in without interviews. Bryan Colangelo stepped down after burnergate. Brand was appointed GM from the G League team.
Brett enabled Ben and Jo more than anyone else but dumb decisions by Brett (ie Jimmy) had them sour on Brett to now you can tell they don’t care. Each player on the starting 5 has publicly called him out on how there’s no stability and everyone doesnt have a clear role. And even to this day, he’s still trying to make Horford and Embiid work together......

i haven't got to it yet, but JJ is a good host and gets a lot of candid conversation from his guests. Typically his guests are all teammates or former teammates so that probably helps tremendously.
