They can still afford to pay those employees.
I’m hoping they don’t cancel the Tame show all together. I’ll live with the postponement but I’ll be hurt if they cancel.

pay part time hourly employees to be at home? that's not good business though. you pay for a service, the virus has it so the service is no longer needed, why would they continue to pay cashiers and security and dancers and restaurants operators when none of them are in the building? Don't be silly guys.

I'm outside. I'm not scared of it. I'm young & healthy.
Legit thinking about copping some flights too.
Flights to Canada are about 200 right now for next month.
People really stocking up on toilet paper? I ain't mad at em.
Tell that to the guys in the corona thread.
Its to be taken serious but makes me damn depressed being in there with everyone being so bleak about the issue.
Mortality rate: 3-4%
Recovery: 96-97%
The recovery part no one seems to bat an eye at, but the new cases popping up daily is what shakes everyone. Wut.
My job just sent out an email saying be prepared to work from home soon.
You young and healthy but your parents are old, grandparents aunts uncles. Dont spread it to them.
bro, i feel you. But I'm a finance guy. That's just bad business. Trust me, I feel you, I feel for them. But look at it this way....if there was no virus, and everyone went to work, and was paid to do their job, but didnt actually do it, just chilled their whole shifts, they'd be fired. Right now they're being laid off. No different than when the auto industry slows down and Chrysler and GM has to layups line workers.People always siding with the employers and not the employees
is it practical? Maybe not
Will they lose money? Yes
is it the right thing to do? Yes
They talk about how they make more money than other teams constantly. Its not like they’re gunna lose millions of dollars paying the employees and even if they did so what?

I could be way off base, but it honestly seems to me that some people are getting caught up in the hysteria just to be in on the “event.” So years later they can talk about going to Target and buying hand sanitizer and Lysol by the case, etc. back in the old COVID-19 days...
My homeboy was just talking bout messing with the final four down here in ATL....IDK if the NCAA would mess with their biggest event of the season, but it seems like the govts are getting serious about this and they shut down Fulton County schools on Monday after 2 teachers got the Coronawith March Madness coming up idk what's gonna happen next.
