I went on IMDB and saw the character “Kady” and wondered if it was the yamb who I believe had a thread and folks would spam the Hillary Duff thread with. It showed a picture of her from the show as her avatar on IMDB and I didn’t want to compromise the integrity of my browser history.

I meant the light skin one but the darker one didn’t grow up to be bad.This raises an important question....why the hell were shows in the 90s/early 00s keeping black characters on shows but switching between light and dark skinned actors/actresses. Quality of the actor/actress aside, it ruins the feel and authenticity of the show.

You're definitely not alone in terms of not liking it (for whatever reason). It's one of my favorite shows of all time. But, some of the criticisms of the show, including some suddenly "problematic" things that have been brought up recently, are overblown.
