How many takes do we think this took, though? He had to get the 40 second monologue down (assuming he had no queue cards) and then bang the jumper.

I’d be shocked if he got it on one take. Though his jump shot form is pretty solid. He should hold the follow through a little longer, but other than that; not bad.

one take, BANG!

if i recall jvg and mark always joking with him, he did hoop in hs

Office and Parks & Rec are both really good if you give it a chance and binge. Once you get in the groove and know the characters, and some of the early season lull dies off the jokes start flowing. Never really watched them consistently when aired, but binged on Netflix and both their middle seasons are gold. Like a point came where they said "**** it, we might not be back, let's go for it"

I feel like a "Hooper's Law" exists in the universe that makes it so that if you are in fact a hooper and you either A. Drop someone with a crossover or B. Are shooting a video on the first take, your shot automatically goes in. I am a living testament and have seen it happen too many times.

Does anybody have any intel on Kai Sotto? :nerd:

I have invested a decent amount of time watching him and reading about him.

Was beside him at a sneaker release about a year and a half a ago . Boy is tall.

Needs to improve his athleticism some more he still runs kinda wonky. When he came to the states he was terrible now he isn’t that bad. He can still improve though. Doesn’t stay engaged as much as he should be . His motor is inconsistent . Cant really defend the perimeter well.

Good side is he’s really tall and long. Can pass the ball well for a big guy and is comfortable with the ball. Can finish with both hands with decent polish. Has range to shoot the 3 pretty well. Can protect the rim a little bit.

Still has a ways to go but he’s young and has a ton of media hype ready to be tapped.

It's not very hard to hit that shot in one take, regardless of form. Cmon yall give the Banger benefit of the doubt

those cons that you mentioned are the cons that's much harder to improve on than skills unfortunately.

Really enjoyed the “rewatchables” segment on the most recent Simmons/Rusillo pod about Suns vs Sonics in 93. This is the kind of stuff that Simmons is really good at, where he’s not being overly emotional making present-day takes.

They talked about Shawn Kemp as much as Barkley, which was cool. What they forgot (or didn't know) to mention is that Kemp received three Finals MVP votes in 1996. MJ got 6 votes and Rodman got the remaining two. Voters were pretty torn.

I have never seen an episode of The Office, but I am contemplating fixing that this week(end)

It's probably worth watching once through. That being said, I actually don't like the show. It has its moments, but ultimately I find it to be kind of depressing. I found myself skipping a lot of episodes when I tried rewatching it and I haven't watched an episode in probably six months.

the office is ok. dudes acting like it’s one of the best shows ever are annoying.

I will say though. the dinner party episode is one of the best episodes in television history.
