Naw it’s very relevant because you brought it up.

Games played:

2016 finals
Steph - 7/7
Klay - 7/7
Dray 6/7

2015 finals
Bron 6/6
kyrie 1/6
Love 0/6

And the Cavs were still up 2-1. This is why people say The warriors caught a break. You telling me if kyrie and Love are healthy it’s unreasonable to believe the Cavs win that series?

Meanwhile Dray came back and the warriors were still up 3-2 with game 7 at home.

if you wanna say a chip is a chip that’s fine. But Y’all gotta stop treating these two series as equals

Exactly a chip is a chip. I didn’t start the qualifying **** lol this don’t matter to me anymore in 2020.

Curry just isn't a #1 guy on a championship team (unless the opposition is decimated by injuries, I guess). That is all.

Which is wild. You win a chip as a #1, you taking teams to the chip as a #1, you certified. Period.

That has nothing to do with it. You said Steph can’t be that guy

that’s factually not true. He literally had already done it before KD got there. Point blank period.

doesn’t even need a deep dive.
You are only choosing to make things black or white and "point blank period" when it is convenient for you.

Let someone say Curry was the #2 to a guy that won multiple FMVPs over him though and we get paragraphs.

I dunno exactly what yall talmbout....

but when curry get switched on the p+r he become food for anyone....ESPECIALLY in the finals during that slow, half court pace.

you can score all the points and hit all the 3’s you want, but when you give up just as many as you give.....=\=

this is why he has 0 finals MVP, doods pick on him with the missmatch and he becomes the whipping boy...hard to have a good offensive series when your getting lashed every defensive possession.

for as good as a player steph is, he can be a major liability on defense

Make of that what you will.

Not really. I don’t care about finals MVPs like that:lol: like I just said, if you think Steph shouldn’t have got it 2015 then IMO you wild’n and I won’t discuss it

and like I just said again, you wanna call Steph the number 2 to KD, sure. You moving goalposts though. Went from he can’t be a Batman and he’s a robin to now he’s a robin to KD’s Batman.

And finally, it really is black and white. Did he not win a chip as a number one averaging 27 a game? Did he not win 73 games, beat Russ and KD in route to the finals the year after? Did he not win 2 MVPs prior to KD joining? All of that is facts and that’s CLEARLY a number 1. Period. What are we doing

Nah he ONLY averaged 26

The rest of that paragraph has literally nothing to do with me only talking about him in the Finals, so that's cool.

He's a great player though for sure. Just don't see him winning any championships as the #1 guy unless the opposing team is decimated by injuries.

End of story.

You my guy but you been qualifying all season. (So have I)

20-4 when Pat/PG/Kawhi all play.

****** is just healthy, that's all it is. Clipset

You can’t be keeping records like this and then act like Kyrie and Love missing an entire series doesn’t matter

Imagine the Clips being up 2-1 while missing PG for 5 games and Bev for the entire series and then losing. We both know you (and I) wouldn’t be talmbout “doesn’t matter.”

We all know the Raps caught a break last year playing an injury riddled team.

Warriors caught a break vs the Cavs.

EYE’m not taking those rings because you can’t. But I’ll acknowledge that breaks were caught and things may have gone another way if players were healthy.

And I don’t think 2016 falls into that category because:

1) Dray missed 1 game (due to his dirty play)
2) GSW had their core healthy, for games 5 and 6

Lest we forget you started the #context movement.

TLDR

Y’all gotta stop acting like 2016 W’s were at anywear the same disadvantage as the 2015 Cavs

Thank you for being reasonable.

None of that matters. The man is a 3X champion. Take that for what you will. Y’all just can’t fathom THIS guy being “the guy”. He is. He been that.

And then, there’s this:

So what you’re saying....holds no weight. A champ, is a champ. Let’s value WINNING again. All that other stuff, is gibberish you speaking.

And adding this for extra measure 😉😉

EYE definitely would not act in that manner as such would be foolish. However, what about 2019 W's? Can we agree they are at least in the same ballpark?

yea I said it in my post. Raps caught the biggest break in NBA history

That’s actually why I Harden now. He caught a break and couldn’t take advantage of it :smh:

What break did he catch? KD went down and was left with a team that already won a title before he got there, and legit would been back to back champs had Lebron not SixNine’d Draymond into a suspension.

You serious? What?! Me pointing that out abt the clippers is simply alluding to how good they are when they’re healthy. I’m not taking wins and losses away from teams that they win and lost to with respect to CHAMPIONSHIPS, which is what Sox was doing by throwing that jab at Steph.

And I’m not comparing which teams were at a more severe disadvantage it doesn’t matter when it comes to a championship, relative to the argument that Steph can’t win as a number one option. He did. It happened.

We can’t in one breathe admit that breaks do happen the constantly bring them up in an effort to provide context. We get it. Steph caught a break in 15 but it happened, he won and beat bron. I was on the other side of this but once you realize how hard it is to win it adds perspective for me

B Sox B Sox moving goalposts, using qualifiers and softening his message.

Say it with ya chest Bruva. You think Steph can’t lead a team to a chip as “the guy” :lol. It’s a wrong take...but own it pleihboi.

Winning is winning. All these “ifs” injuries and laughing emojis won’t erase Steph curry being a 3x champ, and leading his team to a chip as the unquestioned #1 option in 2015 king j king j .

2nd best PG of all time. Believe in THREEZUS :hat

I haven’t taken any wins away from Curry. Not sure why you would say I am. I’m simply adding nuance to the conversation. Confused as to why this is such a difficult concept for you to grasp.
