Beautiful basketball. That steph/dray pnr was literally unstoppable.

Peep how curry hangs his head after the dagger. Harden abuses curry on the regular

You sure? What if one of the top teams loses early? You cried about the NCAA tourney last year when Duke went out before the Final Four.

NT never forgets.

This is going to be possibly the lowest rated Final Four of all time. I don’t think anybody is watching the rest of these games besides hardcore college basketball enthusiasts and fans of the teams playing.

NCAA should have just fixed the game for Duke. Instead they weren’t even calling Zion getting shoved in the back multiple times on entry passes nor several times when him and RJ went to the rack and got obviously fouled going up for layups.

Maybe if they fix this tournament for the Sixers it'll be worth our time

So I'm making my case about Charlotte mayor Harvey Gantt and even though Jordan knew this wasn't a topic that was best for his league, he still delighted in the last word. Because after all that meant you won.

It didn't matter if it was a game, a bet, the first to get dressed or taped, the first bag down the conveyor belt at the airport which he'd, by the way, arranged with a ten for the baggage handler. Conversation and can-you-top-this was a competitive event to Jordan. There were more skilled players, but no one with that manic, never drained reservoir of competitive energy and desire. It's why he worked harder, also. Not necessary to be better. But not to lose to anyone at anything.

So he shot me the last word.

"Republicans," he said with a smile, "buy sneakers, too."

It was all net!

I laughed, which also derailed my train of thought. It was the final word.

I never asked Jordan for whom he voted, to whom he gave money or for whom he worked. He wasn't particularly active or interested in politics, though he might have bet on a race. But after his career I do know he was seriously involved with Barack Obama's campaigns and has supported more social causes than most. Mostly quietly or anonymously.

It was a joke! Stop taking yourselves so seriously. He never did.

Enjoy the show.

TBH, it's a pretty good comparison and there's a lot of parallels between them.

-Both of them came in with a Chip on their shoulder and always have something to prove.
There was a lot of pressure on Kobe after he was drafted out of HS and especially with the MJ comparisons (Play style). Kanye was mocked for wanting to make the transition from producer to rapper. On top of that, he set the bar high for himself when his first album (College Dropout) won a grammy and was nothing like any other rap album at the time.

-They both had a Big Brother/Mentor.
Kobe had MJ and Shaq, Kanye had Jay-Z.

-They both have their controversies.

-They both have big Egos and arguably the hardest workers in their craft.

-They're both Polarizing characters and have a lot of haters.

-They both have massive influence.

-Their attitudes changed later in their careers.

Kobe was that cheerful and happy kid in his earlier career but he became more serious and had that killer mentality later on. Kanye produced upbeat and happy songs earlier on, but they later became darker.

This could be used to describe plenty of people.

Again....to any insight and true in depth coverage of the KD warrirors era....I recommend listening to....

KD HIMSELF on All the smoke & Steve Kerr on Bill Simmons

pmatic pmatic .....how you feel about what they said? Ain’t seen you discuss that.

KD is the last person I'd listen to when it comes to anything KD related. He flip flops so much. I know it's dumb to say, but I take a lot of what he says with a grain of salt.

But these Warrior reporters are weirdos as well. I get both sides.

Was there ever a consensus on Luka or Zion sigs? Westbrook was the most recent JB player to get a signature shoe so I imagine they’d be in the conversation.

Luka will get his own shoe. Zion will stay the guy that promotes the flagship shoe. Looking forward for seeing him introduce the 35s.
