FWIW B Sox pointed out that everyone with 7 or more ASG selections is a HOFer (with the exception of a gentleman from the 50s named Larry Foust) or presumptive HOFer (Lamarcus Aldridge is most debatable. He's also 43rd on the all-time scoring list and the same applies but with no exceptions.
I am not saying Joe Johnson is a HOFer, I am just pointing out there is precedent with regard to his accomplishments that make the suggestion not that crazy in reality. I would follow-up those unique precedents with this summation:
yeah I saw that but that argument is hollow. Guys with 7 all star selections are in the HOF because they were ELITE in their era, and happened to be perennial all stars. That’s not to be confused to mean that a guy who was a perennial all star is an elite/HOF guy. It’s not the same thing. Joe’s career was SOLID but he’s on the outside looking in. Ain’t no way.
Joe and Big Al are first ballot “hall of very good”. Lamarcus and Lowry are borderline but ahead of them...
Ehh I don’t think they will or should.... if we are keeping it real, these dudes are playing in those leagues because they’re not cut for the league anymore, which makes the accomplishments close enough to irrelevant for HOF purposesre: Joe Johnson
Also, at what point does Springfield recognize BIg 3 and TBT accomplishments as part of the formula?
