Definitely agree with BIG LEEMELONE BIG LEEMELONE that there's no risk for corporarions to say Black Lives Matter in 2020. It's a bigger hit if you don't say it.

As far as what Cuban would have to do to show his words are genuine, I don't know. I'm not black so I'm not qualified to give an answer but maybe attend protests and other events? I feel like it'd have to go further than donations to organizations.

Not talking about Mark Cuban but does anyone believe people can change their ideas on social injustices and what would it take for you to believe them, bringing it back to Cuban?

Personally, I think people can change views on important issues - for bad or good. World events, additional life experiences, education, new people we get exposed too, etc. can all influence these kind of things. I definitely don’t see the world the exact same way now that I did when I was, say, 25. All that said, it’s also possible for people to take certain positions for opportunistic reasons.

In Cuban’s case, I think he’s genuine in supporting people’s right to kneel during the anthem if they chose. How “woke” he really is beyond that, I don’t have enough information to really judge it.

Not an easy question to answer, as change in a person is impossible to measure

Over time, a long-term commitment to change/good faith approaches to change might sway my opinion. As the famous dictum goes though: "I can forgive you 1000 times, but I'll only trust you once "

A lot of people supported Trump, before he exposed himself as a narcissistic racist with no common sense during his presidency. Like lawdog1 lawdog1 said a lot of logical people change their views, through education, whether its political or not all the time.

You don't think he was a narcissistic racist before running for president? It just wasn't a liability to associate with him until he got that spotlight.

Anyone know if there is progress in the Chicago bubble? The 8 teams on the outside are at a disadvantage. The rich get richer in the Florida bubble. Building team chemistry and tampering at an all time high :smh:

Trump been a racist for 40-50 years before running for president based on his actions (Central Park 5, housingdiscrimination, etc.) He peddled that birtherism **** with Obama for years yet they still vibed with him. If they ignored him it was willful ignorance.

Make the Finals in the West and then he'll shut some ppl up
Nope. There would still be birds chirping.

"WIN the Finals in the West."

Nope, that won't do it.

He is leading the league in assists for the first time in his career... in year SEVENTEEN. Still birds chirping. "Not too hard to just give it to Eyebrow."

8 straight Finals, still birds chirping. "3 losses. Jordan would never."

MAKING the Finals on a WC team won't shut them up. "Oh, look, another loss. Lefraud. Is this your king?"

WINNING the Finals on a WC team won't do it, especially not the Lakers. "Well yeah, it's the Lakers. They get everybody."

It needs to be him and Boeheim's Army in the WC with their road being the 93 Bulls, the 96 Bulls, the 96 USA team, then the 92 USA team in the Finals. All sweeps.

Actually, they'd still chirp. 😂

Eh. The argument that he's trying to knock ppl for is lamenting the facts of how trash the East was when he was dominating. Last season bolstered that argument seeing as the first year in the West he misses the playoffs entirely. Making the finals at least quell that portion of the argument. Him taking a victory lap for having a #1 seed is premature to say the least. I'll ignore the context of having to get AD to achieve this feat for now.

Bron Bron my goat but did he delete last season from his memory

I must be trippin.... Who really was saying Lebron can’t pile up regular season stats in the West? i didn’t know that was a thing.

Unless he’s won a championship that I didn’t see, literally all he’s done is pile up regular season stats. Anyone who doubted he could do that is stupid as hell lol. Lebron sounding like he just won another ring or something
