VARNELL HILL VARNELL HILL

I misremembered.

looking back on the thread, the hot topic that day was the missed calls game 1 of the Houston/GSW series. Perkins was on undisputed that day and among other things said (im summarizing) that the Rockets should blame themselves for losing and that calls didn’t affect the game. I was wrong insaying that he was praising GSW but I remembered him being on the GSW of a discussion :lol

“‘Misremembered” :lol

Everything don’t gotta be caping or praising. If you can’t recognize the difference in tone, being measured and having a conversation on the actual game...from then and now, you fronting.

Keep 🎣 Tho.

I believe the topics he was discussing at the time of your post was made was either the GSW run or Curry’s legacy. I can do my googles and see for sure. I just remember thinking even then that People were confusing him being good at his job with him saying things they agreed with

You literally just made this up

I DARE you to find a single video of Perk bigging up GSW's run or "Curry's legacy". He showed up on TV during Rockets/Warriors series last summer...and he primarily ****ted on the Rockets style of play and he bigged KD up. And I didn't say what I said because of who he "favored".
It was because I had never heard him string two sentences together before and he was surprisingly GOOD at speaking during a television broadcast. That's it. He hadn't jumped into hot take bag yet. I dgaf about who they like. Does that mean you like Nick Wright because you're a Bron stan?

Speaking of the past tho...

Im getting really close to calling Curry the best player in the league. Will I be laughed at if I do? :nerd:

1. LeBron
2. Steph Curry
3. Eric Gordon

Pass-first Kobe may have been my favorite player of all time. I remember a quote when he said if he chose to play PG when he entered the league he would lead the league in Assists and I just laughed. I really think he could have avg 10+ easily. Wonder how his career would have turned out had he taken that approach.

I can't wait for next season. Football and Baseball will definitely hold me over until then doe :pimp:

Rose never deserved that MVP to begin with

Rose is a great PG but I prefer PGs that set their teammates up at a high-rate.

Rondo, CP3, etc..

Always knew you were a fan :pimp:

I would say that Perk is the LeBron-stanning Yin to Skip’s LeBron-hating Yang, bringing balance to the universe, but LeBron already had enough media Stans before Perk leaned all the way into that role. So Perk’s just unnecessary.

This should just be permanent away with that 🌽 award show

Let HIM HIM tell it....we only said that because he was “praising curry”

“Misremember”. Aka, making **** up.

i said “curry or GSW.”

But okay, change praising GSW to defending GSW. Either way, it’s the only reason you could have possibly thought Perk was good at his job. Either that or you don’t know what you’re talking about. You gotta pick one.

That video you posted...the topic was how some in here were pleasantly surprised at Perkins first time on tv, when he hit the scene. Re-watching it now...I stand by my assessment then. Even pmatic pmatic will tell you that :lol

I swear Perk was good when he started on tv. I don't know what happened to him since.

HIM HIM , This one ain’t work for you today. It’s okay. Try again another day 🎣

Wasn't perc actually critical of Bron when he first got the gig? Vaguely remember something like that

I don’t think so. He came on during the late playoffs for real. Wasn’t much Bron talk (relatively) then.

Over the span of a couple months...he figured the formula and got hit with them checks :lol. I get it.

But it was clear when he first hit the scene, he wasn’t on the **** he’s on now. Cost him some relationships with a few players in the process in the process (KD). Seen Marcus Morning clown him the other day.

He going to lean in too much...and that’s going to be his downfall. He’s not funny like Shannon Sharpe.

He also talks like he's been drinking MD 20/20 before every segment.

He should just start a podcast with a well-informed former player. He could be the the Stephen Jax to that player’s Matt Barnes.
