Unpopular opinion: super hero movies are wack unless you’re younger than 18 years of age.

I don't really mess with them either. I've tried and might try again, but they just don't do it for me.

I've never really been a fan of movies that are heavy on those types of special effects though.

I would consider myself a casual Marvel/DC movie fan in that I enjoy the stories and all the special effects + battles but don't overly delve into storylines and the like, like in the MCU thread. Though tons of fans are over 18 so not sure why that matters. If you don't like super hero movies cool.

I grew up on comics and the cartoons and still like to read comics time to time so it’s dope for me seeing big budget live action renditions. A lot of their stories touch on real human and societal issues.
