Knicks wtf
Whiff on every major free agent.
Sign like 4 power forwards.
Sign thibbs.

Kenny Atkinson basically showed what he can do with scraps and you go for 2K Thibs

Kenny has plenty of flaws himself. I for whatever reason actually watched Nets games (I'm in NYC). He's a good coach with a heavy set of flaws. But he's a newer coach that may grow.

Not saying Thibs is the right choice either though.

Brett Brown coached circles around him in the playoffs.

I don't love Thibs but he has a successful track record and I think the young players could benefit from a hard *** instead of a friend like Fizdale.

we saw Pringles coach circles around thibs and thibs play his starters up 53 in a playoff game. We’ve seen playmakers have career years under Atkinson. Joe Harris’ career was left for dead. The Knicks thinking about free agency instead of building through the draft

Thibs got the job because of his connections. He's repped by CAA I believe and the Knicks are like a CAA subsidiary :lol:

No. Brett Brown just had a team with better players

Why?? You can’t even feel sorry for the Knicks anymore. They continuously do this to themselves. :lol :{

I honestly don’t have a problem with the Thibs hire. It’s not a great move, but it’s not a terrible one either.

For that team, a coach who is a known quantity and gets his teams to play hard makes sense. Not like they’re going to be competing for rings anytime soon anyway. If Thibs can get them to being consistently competitive on a nightly basis, that would be a win for the Knicks.

Thibs has his flaws, but he is a good coach. I think a big part of his problem in Minny was being coach and GM. I’m thoroughly convinced nobody should ever have those dual roles.

Unless he has evolved his actual coaching style and stops running his players into the ground, they're going to hate him by year 2. Think he's best served as a DC like with Doc.
