how do we threaten to pull the NBA from america because....

You don't have to pull the NBA outta America to use the influence that league and its sponsors have to directly affect legislation. Which is the best way their platform can be used.

These on court/jersey messages ain't going to cut it.

Stan Van Gundy has been ROTY on Twitter.

I think it’s unfair to have expectations on players regarding social change during this season. It’s hard enough living out of a hotel room away from family and the luxuries in life you’ve earned, while competing at the highest level of your profession. Anything they do should be commended.

They put the expectations on themselves. They were the ones that said stuff would be amplified by going back to playing.

Amin made a GREAT point today about the league flexing it's muscle that had slipped my mind. When that bathroom bill stuff was going on in NC they pulled the all Star game outta there and threatened to pull business outta there all together and **** was changed quick. I'd like the same energy to be kept for all these social justice issues. By the league as a whole and its sponsors.

Lol let's be serious famb, that bathroom situation was an easy win. A lot of political issues in America aren't.

I hear that but you’re taking the words of a select few who spoke up. Take Breonna Taylor’s case as an example, what more could they have done if there was no season? 60 days of protests and counting still no arrests.
Lebron and curry both said they wouldn’t take a knee back in ‘17 because their reach is bigger than a protest. But regardless of what they did behind the scenes for 3 years it had little impact on the root of the problem I.e. white supremacy.

Od reach. And she got that tmz article with a clickbait headline pinned on her page.
Goofy as hell.

Somebody tried to compare it to flipping on a Lakers game, and saying “#24 (Kobe) is nice.” Aerial Powers has started like 10 games in her WNBA career.

On a regular basis....you can catch basketball fans of every stage flipping through games or at a gym and calling a player their unfamiliar with, by their number...and saying they’re “nice.”

WNBA needs more recognition, but this ain’t it...and the response to Iggy Initial tweet was a reach.

After seeing the article she posted she may have been wanting to run the fade with Iggy for a while

She conveniently cut the article in the pinned tweet, before this part:

The internet is a nasty place. All of it. Starting with TMZ with the headline
