I was thinking the same thing. It does seem shorter. I know I could get use to basketball all afternoon and night all the time.

There is definitely an audience for games that start at 1 pm Eastern, especially Europe. They're only 5-8 hours ahead. The issue is physical attendance. It has to make sense at the gate.
