What's the benefit of Wall doing this

antidope antidope It's actually Adidas that wants out of the contract so Wall has some leverage to get the most money. They must've done some forecasting and predicted that they may not even recover half of what they're going to be paying Wall for the remaining 3 years on the contract.

FWIW, were kids checking for John Wall kicks even when he was not injured?

Andrew Wiggins will be in top 3 for MVP race this season. Quote me on that one in my Stephen A Smith Voice.

And someone was actually upset that Wiggins was included on the "top 10 most overrated players" list, arguing that he wasn't that highly rated to begin with.

Only person checking for John wall is the coat check at Rose Bar

That's what I assumed so why would be even take anything from them? Being a nice guy I guess.

Front running Bron is like no other. Trash for 1st 40 minutes of game. Hits his 10th point..beats chest like Computer Love

Depends on the terms of the contract. There may be language in there that gives Adidas an argument they can terminate the agreement without paying him anything else. Him accepting a buyout is a compromise that lets both parties walk away without having to litigate the matter.

I would expect that, with big endorsement deals, major shoe companies give themselves some protections in the agreement to cancel them if something happens with the athlete to make clear the company will not get full value out of the deal. Whether that be an injury, major negative off-court incident.

"It sucks," Warriors forward Draymond Green said. "But I guess just about everybody except Tim Duncan has been through it. But it sucks pretty bad."

Oklahoma City roared out to a 70-37 halftime lead. The Thunder shot 56.5% before the break while holding the Warriors to 27.5%. Schroder had 16 points and six rebounds in the first half.

A 3-pointer by Danilo Gallinari put the Thunder ahead 95-56 with just over four minutes left in the third quarter and forced a Warriors timeout. Oklahoma City led 105-68 heading into the final period.

Steph they still shimmy in GS or nah. Asking for a friend.

I know it's only the first week of the season but I can't tell you guys enough about how impressed I've been with Dwight Howard. He's doing all the little things, bringing good energy and not complaining about touches.

16 pts on 8 for 8 shooting without us finding a single play for him. Just put-backs, alley oops and rolling toward the basket. Also he's playing good interior defense.

The frustrating part about Dwight Howard's career is that he could have been doing this for the last 3 or 4 years but he still thought he was a star and kept complaining about post touches. He's always had the ability to be an elite rim runner and to guy. It's unfortunate that it took his career almost ending for him to finally accept his position as a role player.

Dwight should have been looking at Tyson Chandler for his role.

There was some bad shot selection from a handful of mavs, especially jalen, a bummer but at least luka seems aware of it
