All good. Even I get confused about Sonics history sometimes. They turned into such a mess after the Kemp trade I don't even know where to begin. Honestly, outside of marquee teams and playoffs, I checked out a bit from the NBA from the lockout to the mid-2000s because the product was so awful. The 2005 Sonics brought me back in, and then the SSOL Suns came along and it was back on.

I never played on the OGs, but I was in a rec league when the Penny 1s first retro’d. Played one game in them and decided that bricks which don’t lock-down well ain’t it. 2s are poor as well.

Kinda how all these shoe lines wind up. Early models are nice for casual wear but then tech increases and they become less wearable in that situation. IMO at least.
Have a couple pairs of 2s. Might have to bust them out soon. Next time I have to pick up something at Target or something.

My family had no money, so I didn't have squat. My favorite shoes I ever got to have were the OG Zoom Hawks, and I had to buy them on sale. They were good for basketball. Lasted me a few years.

Yeah man I got up in weight around 230 ish from 200 and realized what I actually like in basketball shoes and what I was buying were 2 different things.
They are heavy, but worth the extra weight for what you got before they took Zoom out of the forefoot.
Nike better not retro anything in this line again without Zoom
