No doubt about it though, Wade is the #1 option thus far in the series.

This is not even remotely like Shaq carrying Kobe.
In the 12 playoff series that made up the Lakers three-peat, the worst series Shaq had was the 2002 second round against the Spurs. He averaged 21 and 11. Wade averaged 19 points on .405 shooting, 6 rebounds and 2 assists against the Bulls just this previous round.
Also, the differences between Shaq and Kobe in those three finals were huge. And while Wade has clearly been the better player this finals, the difference isn't as big as any of the three finals between Shaq and Kobe.
And what year in the Lakers three-peat was Kobe named to the all-NBA 1st team while Shaq was named to the all-NBA 2nd team?
Props to Wade. He's the Finals MVP. But this isn't the only finals the Heat will play. And next time it will probably be a defense that is more friendly to LeBron. Wade can get a shot on Kidd whenever he wants. He can drive past Kidd whenever he wants. Bron can't do this on Marion, that is a fact. Shawn Marion is 6 years younger and a better defender than Kidd at this point in their careers. But Bron is still having a way better finals than Wade had a conference finals.

I hope he gets wade a nice christmas present. Because he's been an afterthought this whole finals. The only t ime you talk about him is when he is sitting on the court like a douche
