It just leaves me speechless the amount of luck Real Madrid has had this season. I've accepted that this is just simply their year.

Happy to go through against a side worthy of the final, however it comes.

I'd be extremely tight if I were a Bayern fan. The biggest controversy should be that go ahead goal which was offside.

I think Vidal should have been off much earlier anyways, and we didn't have the benefit of seeing the play in real time which got him sent off.

CR7 was off on the hat trick completing goal too, but I'm glad Marcelo's world class play got credited with the assist.

Hope you all have seen the light that Marcelo > Alaba when it counts. It wasn't even close over the 2 legs, even when it was 11 v 11.

More like in recent years. Those Ramos headers have saved RM time and time again. I still remember Real Madrid v. Man City's semi finals matchup. We were outplayed but they advanced from an own goal by Fernandinho :lol

Sometimes it good to have luck on your side.

Welp time for El Clasico next. Casemiro and Vidal could of went either way imo. Ronaldo was offsides. Still going through.

I still think Bayern were outplayed. They didnt create enough chances today even with 11

The Ramos headers aren't luck, Kroos, Modric & Ramos are just great at their roles on set pieces
I could agree... Ramos is just a beast.

I felt like with 11 Bayern would have won this game.

They are and Ramos' ability to head the ball arent luck, but with headers you do need some luck, especially in those big dying moments of the match.

Positioning, defenders marking, goalies positioning, weight/pace of the cross, you get my point.

You can defend the same set piece time and time again, but that one time it goes in cant be credited to skill to just skill and ability, luck plays a big part in set pieces IMO.

Asensio is also the truth

21 years old. Showed his class even before the goal. Wonder if Zizou will begin to start him at RW.

To be fair coming into this season I had Alaba, Marcelo, Alba.

Marcelo definitely showed up this game and showed up Alaba too. I cant even make an argument for Alaba at the moment. Hes not having as much of an impact as he did last season where he showed his versatility.

Asensio should be the first wing off the bench going forward into next season

With the talented youth this team has, after they bring a new gk and depth for the back line this team should be able to sustain these deep cl runs

If this is your serious response then cool.
There's also the fact that Cristiano won Ballon D'or and CL in 2 different leagues, most CL goals ever, most goals in a season (EPL)

-Messi has little control over the fact that he's only played for only one club
-Messi has more CL wins
-Messi has more Ballon d'Ors
-Only reason Ronaldo has more CL goals is because he's older and has been playing longer than Messi.

The Messi v Cristiano debate can go either way

But at the end of the day, Ronnie still taller :lol
