Tough for James to start because Casemiro balances out RM a lot more. It lets modric and Kroos play up the pitch more and use their creativity and boss the mid field. James does create a ton of chances for them for sure and I like him. Bale is also money on his crosses.

Leave it to the champs of England & Pep's squad to rep well for England in the CL this week.

Got damn the Spurs played alot of kickball today. Very surpised at that.

Jose already tempuring expectations by discounting the EL...

Good to see Batra doing well with Dortmund.

Have work until 6 on Friday. Don't know how I'm going to watch Liverpool/Chelsea.

What do I do NT? Call in sick? Quit? Get myself fired? All of the above?

Leave at 2 with a "stomach aliment" or switch hours

Zidane is 27W 2L 3D as Real Madrid manager, that's pretty good

Pep Guardiola is the first Man City manager in history to win his first 7 games:

WWWWWWW

Goals: 21
Conceded: 4

Squawka has some great stuff on today's matches

Fabinho game by numbers vs. Spurs:

90% pass acc.
7 tackles won
7 blocks
3 interceptions
3 clearances

Im more concerned of how we get by in mid season and if Pep can get our rotations right. Great start, long season ahead. We were off to a hot start last season and that didnt end too well.

After following a couple of these City games, I now see why Pep went there.

That current squad that he took over fit more with him than both Arsenal and United

Otamendi is also playing like a beast under Pep.

Gundogan looked really good on his first game back. :smokin

Hope he stays healthy (Kun too).

The youngins are going to flourish under Pep. Leroy, Luxurious Raheem, KDB...

Champions League? Easy work.

Seeing us win in the CL regardless of opposition, is surreal. And 3-0 too. What a ******* day.

La liga don't have a 100% record in Europe, Sevilla drew with Juve, and let's not get ahead of ourselves since there's still EL to be played.

Psk, don't count Leicester out for repping the EPL properly either, regardless of competition. They were also away.

Going to go on a rant about RM later :lol

Dani Alves and Evra played like ****.

Put in my boy Forrest Lichsteiner Gump and Alex Sandro, please.

HEGGSY world tour ain't stopping. My dude just can't lose this year.

Saw his home club win the league and their first CL match in a 6 month span.

I wasn't counting heggsy heggsy FC out, I was giving them kudos as champs of England for repping for the league well by winning so convincingly. In fact I think they might continue to do well if they can get the midfield sorted out.
