Yeah Memphis should've went to Liverpool, but he said that they were a "tiny club".

You're acting as if one of the best players ever was lucky to score a hat trickpep really needs to be more flexible...he has this rigidity to not budge on his philosophy even when it is clearly the wrong tactics.
pressing barca at the camp nou with a squad that's clearly inferior from top to bottom just isn't good tactics.
i admire him for his ideology but he doesn't have the team to execute this.
Man say what you want but this is what i love.
Losing to Barca is not the end of the world. And not trying to play "moral victory" but some of the goals they gave up were jokes. Slipping, just mindless give-aways. And they created chances. We criticize Mou for parking the bus but we criticize Pep for trying to play attacking ball? Man give me a Pep game to watch all day. The players might not be able to pull it off but that game was great to watch.
Crazy moments aside they still lose this game most likely. But Pep might be 1-2 players away from something great at City. If Sterling some how maintains form....and Aguero gets in form with Silva and KDB and Nolito...Sane off the bench for an attacking change of pace...just sure up that defensive mid field and get a solid outside back and you can challenge anyone in the world.
He should really be hitting up Klopp's phone begging for a transferYeah Memphis should've went to Liverpool, but he said that they were a "tiny club".
TBF to Memphis it was go to Liverpool and work under Rodgers or united and work under a man you considered a father figure.

Couple months ago ya'll were calling for his head, now you're scared of life post-Wenger.

Apparently Ozil isn't too concerned with wages, he wants to know if wenger is going to sign a new contract before he signs his. Personally I don't want wenger to leave yet, sign a 2-3 year extension and I'll be happy. I have a feeling things aren't gonna be so good when he leaves [emoji]128517[/emoji]
We need to keep collecting these points, tough November and December coming up
All well and dandy now....I just wonder if Özil will feel the same way if Arsenal finish 4th again...

ummm we finished second last season
I agree. I never expected a win even as City fan I wanted to see how this team now would respond and play against a great team like Barcelona and in the first half I liked what I saw despite the goal which while Messi was great in what he did Fernandinho slipping was really unlucky cause if not he would have cleared it no problem. There was good pressure, we where able to play out the back (not as much as Barca obviously) and create a few chances that should have been capitalized better. I said at the end of the first half yesterday that everything considered it was a 50/50 or 45/55( to Barca) first 45 mintues. And it looked like it was gonna continue for the first 8 minutes of the second half until Bravo's gaff and everything went to **** after going done to 10 men.I'm an RM fan, but one bad result to Barca at the camp nou can't undermine what Pep has accomplished with City so far. Just a few weeks ago people were in awe at how quickly he got the team playing his style of football, and his stans were calling him the goat with no backlash after the derby win.
I would think neutrals want every manager to play more like Pep instead of being results driven. Any normal manager in their right mind A) would have adjusted their tactics going into Barca, and B) bunkered in to a counter attacking set up after going to 10 men. But what Pep has been trying to do with City from day 1 (and Bravo's shaky performance in the derby stands out to me) is to give these guys the confidence and freedom to believe they can play his system. It's not going to happen at a CL contender type level over night, and without the acquisition of a little more talent. The reality is that regardless of tactics City weren't going to win anyways.
Even more so supporting my point.
Please stop acting like Arsenal finishing 2nd is common practice.
