Just curious, how Long have you been using your app to get kicks?all Nike has to do is make some simple HTML tag changes for the next release and already 3/4 of the scripts won't work.
Shout to the dudes trynna help others...I like the "community" feeling of this particular thread...reminds me of the old NT
...BUT, this RSVP sniper/guarantees ish breaks my heart. Dudes not playing fair. I get if...you have a technological advantage, you should definitely use it...makes sense. But damn...All of it just seems like it's too much.
Dudes can't just not have kicks...whatever man...I'm glad I don't rely on Niketowns for my acquisitions. How's a regular dude gonna compete with all this scripting and HTML and all that stuff??!
TheKid knows sneakers, comic books, football, and chronic...none of this online dark magic
bring on anonymous and theyll shut these bots and sites down quick
QFT. I have been saying this for the past year....buying for retail or less is a luxury now reserved for shoe store employees and their friends/family. The sneaker culture is at its all-time highest... with everyone trying to capitalize, whether u be a sneakerhead, re-seller, collector, etc. Some of you heel-diggers that adamantly refuse to pay anything above retail are gonna have to get used to the fact that things have changed. No longer are you/we going to just walk into a store and buy some Js.It simply doesn't work like that. It sucks, but dwelling on it aint changing a thing.
The way I look at it is like this: If you have the means to achieve your goal (copping kicks) then use them. I know I do.
My "means" is my money, and my willingness to fatten some pockets to get what I want; my "means" is my gift of gab. I utilize my "means" to secure connects for Js at mom and pop shops.
That's old school, but it's what I know. I'm not an HTML hacker computer guy -not who I am.
In my eyes, the same way I look out for a store associate by slipping them $20-30, is no different than RSVPing. If anything, the former is more direct -and is the complete OPPOSITE of the traditional way of doing things. At the end of the day, both actions are intended to circumvent the system. Both "screw" honest, unsuspecting consumers that lack the drive and/or wherewithal to get kicks.
My two cents.

Taking all that into consideration that 20-50 bucks to reserve your shoe is well spent vs. all the 100.00 re-sell markups, and the hassles, raffles, lines etc.
Its a new day and time and days of retail are long gone. Two saying almost always hold true..LIFE IS NOT FAIR...AND IF YOU CAN'T BEAT EM JOIN EM.
You gotta adapt and evolve, or you'll be left with a shoe collection with kicks only from 2011 and earlier....
Not sure what store you signed up for, but I'm working on a dashboard so that you will know if you are registered and authenticated correctly. The next version of SoleReserve is going to be pretty sweet and when I get around to do the clustering... well lets just say I hope you arent paying money for those silly bots you run on your computer at homeReal talk....hey chronos. How do i know if i registered for your program correctly. I checked my dm. I didnt send anything out

Bot or not your chance of getting any drop for retail is slim. Period. RSVP only accounts for MAYBE 10% of the release at most.
Huh? I can't believe people think this way. I've bought 30 pairs of Jordans and Nikes in the past year and haven't paid over retail for any of them. The funniest part is most Jordan retros are only reselling for $30-$40 over retail months after anyway. Hell, some Nike retros aren't even going above retail afterward. Those Camo Foams are still sitting in places and I've seen stuff in the BS forum asking for retail + tax + shipping.
Some of you try to hype this shoe "game" into something more than it is. Too many people here sweat every release when in reality if you do your HW you have a number of opportunities to get a pair in most instances.
im with you hommie i dont think ive paid anything over retail for any of my kicks in the past 2 yrs and i still have receipts for all of em(for those i know will doubt lol)Huh?
