  the key word here is former. if a teacher wants to pipe big booty sally after she graduated and is of age then let him pipe big booty sally and hit her with whatever gynecologist lines he wants to use then more power to him but doing it when the girl is underage is a bad look.

Some of my friends from high school are teachers now and I see they add some of their students on Facebook. It's a bad look even if you have no ill intentions...IMO high school students have no business being on their teachers friends list. Your students don't need to see college pictures of you blacked out drunk in a bar and throwing up on yourself...and your clever quotations

Making a page for your class and using it as a Blackboard kind of thing (syllabus, office hours, etc) is one thing, but adding students to your personal Facebook page and commenting on their stuff is just asking for rumors to start flying.
 
Some of my friends from high school are teachers now and I see they add some of their students on Facebook. It's a bad look even if you have no ill intentions...IMO high school students have no business being on their teachers friends list. Your students don't need to see college pictures of you blacked out drunk in a bar and throwing up on yourself...and your clever quotations
