I had an aunt that died last year after fighting breast cancer for years. I don't know why, but it seems likeever since she died, I've been hearing of more and more women succumbing to it. My purpose in making this thread is just to increase the awareness...toget ya'll active in preventing it EARLY. Like they always say, the best prevention is early detection. So with that, I leave ya'll with one lastplea...

In all honesty...I expected my aunts funeral to be the most depressing thing ever. But it wasn't. Everyone had already seen her death coming, so we were all prepared. We just celebrated her life with songs, food, and funny memories from our times with her. That's why I can make this thread and still chuckle. She'd want me too.

...Buzz killington indeed. Sorry for your loss (as well as yours OP).

One of the few things I can't laugh at/about...

Grandmother died from breast cancer and my aunt currently going through radiation treatment. Participated in Run for the Cure this past weekend, it was greatto see so much support from the community.

My thoughts and prayers go out to all who are or have been affected.
