Yeah you have to preorder, I read a response on their Twitter yesterday if you have the Alpha you will have access also, I will have to check later if my game updated to the Beta.
If you haven't you can pre order off Amazon, I tried it this morning and when I entered the Beta code it says invalid on the Division website, its probably an easy fix you can just hit up Ubisoft support then they will give you another beta code, just make sure you cancel the pre order from Amazon so you aren't charged when the game releases.

The beta is a completely different download, so you gotta download another 25gbs or so.

Yeah you noob, Amazon doesn't charge you until the day your item is delivered. But like I said I did the pre order earlier and the code was said to be invalid so be prepared to email Ubisoft for a new one. I was apart of the alpha so Im going to wait it out, I might just email them later so I have a backup code just in case, just busy at work today and can't go to gaming sites on my job pc, don't feel like doing it mobile.

Amazon doesn't charge until they ship.
But ubisoft said all those who were in the alpha have beta access.
Login to your uplay account, click your name in the top right corner once you login and click account information.
After you click that there shoud be a button on the page that says beta access and your code should be there fi you have one.

I just checked my One and there was no "beta" downloaded or in the queue. I clicked on the alpha and there was a message that rhe beta servers would go live Thursday.
Do you need XBL to play? I really don't want to buy one just for a few days. I go TDY on Monday and won't be back for a month and a half so I won't be online anyway.

Not sure about Live, should be able to play alone offline but it could be set up like Destiny :/

Damn hopefully that's not the case. I definitely wanted to run with ya'll boys. I secured a PS4 code too so I'll probably have to play on PS4 if I want to play with some NTers.

Yeah not required to play but you can't run until you get ya Gold. Not a big deal tho for the beta tho
