This is all due to when CWebb signed a seven year deal with the Kings worth over $120 million (yes, seven years.... yes $120+ million

). The Sixers bought out the remaining two years of his contract for $25 mill andI guess the buyout for this year equals that number. Ridiculous, I know.
Well in Sacramento's defense this was prior to his series of knee injuries, but still that's a lot of loot.

San Antonio is playing him around 3...Dallas is still on the hook for somewhere in the 18.5 range.

Michael Finley was part of the cap release after the new collective bargining agreement was made. teams were able to release one player that didn't counttowards the luxury tax but they still had to pay his salary. So when finley was cut, he went to san antonio for little more then the veteran minimum.

Francis was traded to portland and was then bought out by the blazers so they are paying a majority of that salary as well.

Webber was bought out by the sixers last year and then signed the minimum with detroit. Sixers actually gave webber about 85% of his contract on the buyout Ibelieve so that is why they he is being paid that much from the contract.

Marbury's contract is a joke. But hey, he is the highest paid point in the league and with his lineup status each night, the highest paid bench player.

Kidd is worth every penny. (Make a brown, farmar deal work now laker fans lol)

No, they signed the shorter contract extensions. They should be coming up on free agency again pretty soon.
