How would you guys summarize Travis' sound / music -- he's like a grungier Cudi with way better hooks, imo

Beibs en el Trap is my most favorite song of all time -- "I'm lit / lightning / white bish / she thick" always gets me hype

^a Great Value Kanye/Cudi mashup, but unlike Kanye/Cudi in recent years, I've actually enjoyed a lot of Travis' music

Makes sense.

I put my mom on -- now she's always saying "Pulled out of the hood Toyota / Drove back to the hood Lambo"

Always been interested in the management / business side of music
Lyor Cohen used to manage Travis Scott, but things apparently aren’t so peachy now. Lyor’s LCAR Management company is now suing the Houston rapper for breach of contract.
According to TMZ, Travis signed a three-year contract with Lyor’s company back in October of 2014, entitling the company to 15 percent of everything Travis makes in entertainment. LCAR says they should have made about $2 million by now, but instead the lawsuit claims they’ve only made about $37k. LCAR says they’ve been trying to get the rest of their money since 2015, but all they’ve gotten is a letter from Scott’s attorney saying the management company’s services are no longer needed. LCAR is suing to get full accounting of Travis’ earnings—as well as what they’re owed.

Sources say Travis signed the deal in good faith, trusting that Lyor’s company would handle his career well. But apparently the rapper felt LCAR wasn’t fulfilling its obligations, and he soon replaced them with a new team that he felt was doing their job better than LCAR was. Those same sources say it’s ridiculous that Cohen, now Global Head of Music at YouTube, would file such a frivolous lawsuit.

Lyor stopped managing Thug in September, considering where Travi$ was when he signed (DBR) to where he is now they did a good job.
