Randy Moss
Rec | 69 | Yds | 1313 | TD | 17 |

Anquan Boldin

why? he was a pro style qb at bc and carried them there too with almost zero playmakers.

and i'm not saying im agreeing with the hooplah, but you also need to realize he plays the most important position on the field. Randy wouldn't haveput up those numbers with a sub par qb throwing to him.

Exactly.

My son caught 100 balls that year w/ like 9 TD's
But is there a steeper learning curve for a rookie QB or WR?

Q was catchin them jeff blake BB's all day back in 03'

5am6oody72 .... u prolly still icing them hammys after that sprint from lane

How soon we forget....I'm going with Adrian Peterson. Others brought up Boldin, but Peterson's rookie year was damn impressive.

Its just as hard to adjust to playin wr in the nfl as it is qb

That's why teams/gms don't even expect much outta rookie wrs.

I never forget Q was mic'd up vs rams. And he was killing aeneas williams and after the game faulk went up to him and gave him the certified stamp. Toldhim "you belong here"

If Matt Ryan know what's good for him, he'll fake an injury so he doesn't have to play the Bucs again.

Dre, i dont wanna hit you with the "QB is the toughest position to learn" blah blah, but there is a REASON why all those are non QB's.
laugh.gif
i love Q and AP but Matt has been IMPRESSIVE!!! EDIT: Big Ben won the super bowl for christ sakes
laugh.gif

Yeah,

And Matt had the benefit of a beastmode running game and a good defense.

When Q came into the L, he had been playing WR for only like 4 years. One of them lost to a terrible knee injury.

And who else did the Cards have at WR? Or RB?

Moss had Reed and Carter at WR, And Robert Smith at RB.

I'm just saying...Keep is 100..

And you just %%!#+@ that quote all up....

hmm... did Adrian Peterson's rookie season not happen or something?

not saying it was the best, but it was just last year
laugh.gif

yeah i did
laugh.gif

so if he takes the Falcons to the playoffs will you change your mind? what about 25 tds and 10-12ints?
what will convince you?

^^^by Dre's logic.... AP doesnt get it because he had Hutch and McKinnie and a strong D to get him the ball back.

really, did he just completely forget about it?

I think its a common understanding that Matt Ryan has been a lot more impressive than people expected, and that the Falcons are 6-3

Peterson had a hell of a rookie year, but I'll take Clinton Portis on Denver any day over All Day (as far as rookie years).

It would have been interesting to see what type of #'s AD would have put up had he not hit the wall for the last 7 games in the 07' season.

Sorry.

But Edgerrin James and Clinton Portis had better rookies years than A.P.

Stop that. Where did I say that Matt's rookie year wasn't impressive?

All I did was point out things about his team, nothing more.

Big Ben won a Super Bowl his second year.

He was Tommy Maddox's backup for the first few games as a rookie I believe
