Trip planned to Charleston SC this month- must do restaurants/bars, sight seeing?

Planning a trip to Charleston SC this month. What are your must do restaurants, bars, sight seeing, tours, walks on the beach, etc. I was hoping to find a good homestyle comfort food spot- fried chicken, green beans, mac & cheese, etc if anyone has any recommendations. I'm down for modern "foodie" spots as well, but at least once want to try buffet style if there's a good spot. Thanks
