Trip to portland- help me out NT

I know I could post this in the regional thread but I've seen people get a lot more advice on their trips in general. I am visiting portland from Seattle for the weekend to hit up the nike employee store and go to a blazers game. My main question is where is the best place near the nightlife to book a hotel? Close enough to where I can walk to and stumble around drunk. Also, any other cool restaurants or things in general y'all would recommend?

I've heard the pearl district is the best area for bars and what not. Going with my girl so strip clubs are out of the question unfortunately. :lol:

Only been to Portland once (loved it)...but I recommend going to Tasty n Sons and getting the Tasty Burger...it's goooooood.
 
Old town / Chinatown for night life.

Kenny & Zukes to eat :smokin

Fire on the mountain (Wings)

Portland is small anywhere in downtown and you'll be ok.
