At least Mädchen Amick and Sherilyn Fenn are back.
Will be interesting to see how the show will work with such an enormous cast. Part of the appeal of the original was that it was set in a small cozy community.

I had never watched twin peaks when I was younger (in my early 30s now), but my wife recently was talking about it so I watched it. I thought season 1 was great, but season 2 not so much. From what I've read, the network wanted David Lynch to reveal who Bob/the killer was, and he didn't want to do that at all. So on this showtime one he has 100% control, which was a go/no go point for him, which is good because I personally think the show will be better without network meddling. I'm looking forward to it.
On another note, I watched the twin peaks movie 'fire walk with me', and **** that was way more twisted/****** up than the show. I would recomend that anyone that hasn't seen it to definitely check it out.

i watched the red room dream scene late at night flipping through the channels
this was prob two weeks ago at 2 in the morning
it was creepy as hell to me yet so interesting
i was like wth is this and checked info and saw it was twin peaks and from the 90s
it was the first time ever watching the show and i happened to stumble upon it during that scene

as we did when the show first aired
